Taking UNIV 1002 will look bad later?

UNIV 1002 "online education strategies for non-native English speakers" is the course assigned to, well, non-native English speakers, as well as those who didn't study at an English-speaking school.

Do you think it will look bad on a transcript? Whether when applying to internships, masters or jobs.

I appreciate the university's effort to provide non-natives with a dedicated pathway, but according to the syllabuses of UNIV 1001 and UNIV 1002, the difference seems small, only some vocabulary assignment.

Can enrolled students transfer credits to UoPeople?

As the question says. I would like to apply to masters in CS later, and having some courses like linear algebra (not available at UoPeople currently) may be helpful.

So, can students get credits for courses like linear algebra and transfer them to UoPeople CS bachelor?

What are your theories on how they'd announce and make the first episodes for season 3?

Brit and Zal are very creative with their stories.

I imagine them breaking the fourth wall. Something like "the third season is happening right now" and all this thing of the show being cancelled and fans asking for the show comeback, WILL BE in the show.

Difference between UNIV 1001 and UNIV 1002?

I was checking the syllabus for these 2 courses, and the main difference is that UNIV 1002 puts 5% weight in one vocabulary assignment that lasts 1 hour to do.

I wonder, does it justify creating 2 different courses? Or maybe there is more in the courses content that I don't see

Has any non-native English speaker (who didn't get education in English) been enrolled in UNIV 1001?

Can I register or be registered in a course AFTER a term begins (in case some students drop a course)?

New student here, I've read that some new students get automatically registered in 2 foundation courses, however I was registered in only 1.
I even tried to see if I could register for another course during the first hours of late registration period, but never saw a course I could register to.

So days ago, I asked my advisor if I could be registered to another course.

I'd like to become a degree-seeking student next term.

I don't want to lose a term for something that wasn't in my control.

Should high school diploma be uploaded before, during or after Foundations course?

So, I'm really confused.

- In the portal, in the enrollment progress, it says English proficiency, then orientation, then registration, then payment. Last one before June 16. In that workflow, high school diploma is not mentioned.

- In the checklist (in portal), it says to submit documents (no specified date for high school diploma)
I already uploaded my English diploma before, and I was told to do orientation course after it, NOT to upload high school diploma.
Selecting the option to submit documents takes me to "Foundations evaluation".

- In their website, it says high school diploma should be uploaded after Foundations:
Completing UoPeople Foundations is a requirement for all UoPeople students. Upon successful completion of these courses, you will need to provide proof of your high-school completion to be eligible to enroll in the University and become a student in our degree programs.
https://www.uopeople.edu/become-student/admissions/undergraduate-admission/

I already contacted PA, and I'm waiting for their answer, but it would be good to know what other students did.
Also, I'd prefer to have this question here so that future students do not get confused too.

Is 50 min EF test accepted?

I see EF test has two options:
50 min (reading, listening)
90 min (reading, listening, writing, speaking)

If one starts "online education strategies" in June, will that count as having started the degree in June?

So, 2 questions:

  1. If one starts "online education strategies" in June, will that count as having started the degree in June?

  2. The month where one starts the degree is important for recruiters/CV?
I wonder if starting in months that are not August/September or January will look bad/suspicious in CV.
I'd like to work as a software engineer and later have an academic career, like, research in CS-related areas like AI (yes, I know the courses are not math-heavy and it's not a research university). After UoPeople and getting financially better, I'd like to do a master in a university that could leave me well-positioned for an academic career.

What dark regional forms would you like to see in the new games?

I'd love to see a dragon/dark or water/dark Gyarados, as well as new Pokémon with their own folklore
