HELP!

HELP!

All right, so my boss knows that I love plants and yesterday she brought in her snake plant with the hope that I could help rehab it. The problem is I don’t really have an interest in snake plants and I’ve never owned one so if I could get any advice on how to help this plant out, it would be greatly appreciated. She rescued it from a fire at her job in 2002 so my reputation as someone with a green thumb as well as my job (I’m joking. She would not fire me over this) are at risk! It’s in my bathtub because when she brought it to me, the soil was bone dry, and this felt like the best place to water it, and I know it needs some better draining soil as well as a terra-cotta pot?? Literally any tips and tricks are so appreciated!!!!

Update!!!

A little over a week ago I posted on the sub about buying a 1970 F100. Everyone was extremely kind and encouraging so I would like everyone to see what I brought home yesterday!!! I am picking up on stick faster than I thought I would, and I am having a blast driving the truck.

First f100?

I am considering a 1970 F100. It would be my first vehicle is older than the mid 2000s. I am not super mechanically inclined, my dad bought a 1980s Ford for us to fix up as my 1st car, but unfortunately passed before we could do it so this is also a little bit of an emotional purchase lol. I do have a reliable daily driver, this would more be just for fun. I also recently came into a decent amount of money so I’m not really super worried about gas prices/the cost of the truck (obviously nothing crazy). I would like a vehicle that helps me get used to working on a truck (I do have a lot of friends that are more than happy to teach me) The truck I found is in perfect condition, except for a little bit of a rust in the bed and they are asking 8,000. It would also be my first manual transmission, I learned once when was 16 and haven’t driven a manual since. I guess what I’m trying to find out is 1. Is this a decent truck to learn how to work on? 2. Am I going to destroy it learning manual? 3. Would you recommend a different year or model (I do have my heart set on a ford)? 4. Is this a ridiculous decision because a small part of me feels like it is?
