New roses from mid summer suddenly turning yellow from within.

I bought these shrub roses from a local nursery about two months ago. They are planted in full sun in my garden. Our soil is pretty heavy on clay but the side areas drain well. We are currently in a drought and I've been trying to keep everyone watered but it's difficult. I have two roses planted near each other and both are turning yellow from their inner leaves, but both pictures are of the worst looking bush.

They were fed with a slow release food upon planting and top dressed with compost. I'm new to roses and clearly am failing these ones somehow. How can I help them?

Is it safe to wait to investigate a new bump on dog's head?

I noticed a small bump under the skin on my 5 year old ACD/lab mix about two weeks ago. It is colorless/white (her skin color, not red) and feels like a human pimple. If I gently manipulate the skin around it it feels exactly like a bb just under the skin, though is a bit smaller in size than a bb. She doesn't like me investigating it but I'm not sure if it's because it is uncomfortable or because she generally hates me inspecting her. She doesn't itch it or react if I simply pet over it.

It doesnt seem to have grown in size. Again the best I can say is it feels like an ingrown pimple. The location is about 1 inch in front of her ear on her forehead. The bump appeared rather suddenly, or at least I noticed it one day.

She is due for her shots next month and I am looking for guidance on if I should try to get an appointment for further investigation of the bump before then or if this is safe to wait a few weeks. As always I immediately worry about worst case scenario of, say, a mast cell cancerous tumor but I don't want to waste a vet appointment in this era of scarcity. Thanks for any help.

Dog favoring front leg after Frisbee occasionally, with a small bump on the side of her paw.

Hello Vets! Here's the stats on my girl: 5 year old cattle dog/lab mix, 58 lbs, Frisbee enthusiest. In April of last year she developed a limp after playing Frisbee and after an exam by our vet was prescribed Dermaxx and no Frisbee. She stopped limping soon after and was fine. A small swelling was noted by me on her front right paw and physically examined (no imagining) but the vet was not concerned.

A few weeks ago she had a slight favor of the same leg again after Frisbee, then had a rough day where she ran full tilt into a tree and injured the same leg. Again it was a quick recovery, a vet physical exam, the bump noted to be the same size  and a running prescription of Dermaxx given. I have only given her two single doses of Dermaxx. My vet has said imagining can be done but the treatment would not change.

My concern is the bump. I've looked at anatomy pictures but I'm having a difficult time trying to determine what it could be. My girl is not keen on strangers so I don't want to put her out my vet under more stress requesting an x ray of this is a tendon. The bump is firm but soft and my vet feels it's simply a part of her anatomy. I'm wondering if it's at a location where swelling could indicate the source of her pain and if it could be something more ominous. A sibling of hers passed at one year old from what I was told was bone cancer (the shelter I adopted her from told me this, so I didn't even know if it's valid information) and that information has hung over me ever since. Any help would be appreciated. Linked is a folder of photos of both her troublesome paw and her other front paw.

Black bear was visiting last night and left a wild trail through the yard

The larger divot is where he kindly pooped in the middle of the grass, which was highly offensive to my dog and had to be removed immediately.

We have had bears here before, some larger than the one who visited last night. But this is the first time I've ever seen this visible of a trail on the grass.

Ocular migraines. Why? What is this now?

I'm 41 and come from a long line of early peri women. I still have mostly predictable timing of periods with some extra spice of 'will this one have merciless cramps or just pass quietly?". My emotions are a hot mess. But the real issue now is ocular migraines.

What the hell is this now? Before this year I've had a few in my life, maybe spread a year apart or so. But lately they seen to be happening more regularly 7-9 days before my period starts. Classic zigzags, lasts about 30 minutes, ends with slight head pressure similar to sinus headache but nothing uncomfortable. But this is all... alarming? Frightening? My primary seems unconcerned, but is this a thing that happens with hormone changes? Does anyone have any suggestions on prevention that are not hormone replacement ( which I'm not a candidate for)?

Bump on dog's wrist and a slightly limp after a rousing game of Frisbee.

Hello Vets!

My girl (5 year old heeler/lab, 60 lb) played Frisbee a bit too hard last night and has a bit of a limp today. I noticed this slight swelling this evening and am wondering what this might be. It seems a bit tender but she is not licking it. The bump is soft.

This area is always a bit more pronounced on this paw than the other and I have had my vet look at it previously. She said it's just an anatomical difference in her paw structure. I do have an appointment with my vet tomorrow in case her limp gets worse but at the moment it's hardly noticeable and she is continuing to fight against my suggestion of bed rest.

I'm curious what this location is and why it might be generally more pronounced on one paw vs the other. Below is a link to a picture of the affected paw.

My girl is a heeler mix and her "Frisbee" (it's a disc golf disc) is her everything. As you can see in the photo, it's in rough shape and crumbing. I have bought at least a dozen replacements to try to get her to accept another as her favorite, but nothing compares to the original.

I've bought dog specific soft frisbees. I've tried other discing discs (which I do not like, as they are hard. I know, not good for teeth but she doesn't catch it and long throw Frisbee is her greatest joy). I've tried sticking the new ones in her bed, in her food bag, in MY bed, tucking it under my shirt too make it smell like me... I know the smell of it is a huge part of the appeal of the old faithful Frisbee but it doesn't have many throws left.

What can I do to help her say goodbye to her favorite toy and find joy in a new Frisbee that actually flies?
