hi there,
we are going to replace our old 90cm gas hob with an induction hob.
size could be 80cm or 90cm, but i think we tend towards the larger 90cm option.

i find it incredibly difficult to choose a hob, so i hope i find some help here.

requirements:
- not too noisy (i heard some induction hobs can be loud and buzzy)
- swift heat control (slider, rotary dial etc), and no endless tapping the + or - buttons
- potentially flexible positioning of pans and pots (not sure how important that is, but i guess it can be helpful with awkward sized pots

what are your recommendations?

I have a bit of a problem, and i think there might not be a proper solution:
I was planning to power the osmo action 4 via a powerbank while i am riding my bike.

the camera is attached upside down to a mount at the handle bar.
now, if i want to have the powerbank connected, i need to keep the side 'door' open to attach the cable.
problem is, this side door will be exposed to all the vibrations and rattling of the bike ride (especially on gravel), and it might break.

has anyone here figured out a good technique to connect a powerbank, while protecting the door from being damaged?

(ps: the battery life of the camera battery is a bit disappointing)

Ok this question might sound a bit weird:

When we visited Ghent, Bruges etc, we were really impressed with the overall quality, style and beauty of the windows people had installed in their houses. Can someone point me to what the good/popular windows brands are in Belgium?
(I would also love to know if some of those also sell to the UK)

Last year I did a tour Dunkirk, Ostend, Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, Maastricht, Trier, and then back by train. I really liked it, and now I would like to do another tour starting either from Dunkirk or Calais. (I live in London, and get there by ferry).

Does anyone have ideas what other routes might be nice in the region? Maybe around the North of France and then turn into Belgium on the way back?

Or head further towards Netherlands?

Any ideas?

Hi, another tourist question:
I am thinking of exploring the town with a blue-bike, and then just locking it somewhere when i want to see a museum etc.
from what I understand there are lots of places to return the bike?
or will it be too much hassle to sort out the bike, and i am better off walking?

We are going to stay three days in Ghent, and I am wondering whether I can do a day trip from there to Antwerp?

I know Ghent-Brugges is easy to do, but what about Antwerp?
