visit to the vet

my pineapple ggc (meusli) started plucking again, mostly at her legs so i took her to the vet. vet checked her legs for bone damage, skin irritation and mite damage but she said everything is normal and ruled out other illnesses. she did give her some mite droplets and anti inflammatory medicine.

she's a very anxious bird and stresses more compared to my others so i got her some supplements, it helps with molt support, stress and plucking prevention and feather health overall.

really hoping this works, i feel so hopeless in situations like these because i want to give my birdies the best life.

is this plucking or molting :(

a while ago i made a post about my ggc regrowing her feathers after plucking in hormonal season last year. yesterday she was sitting on my curtains for a while and feathers was just all over the ground. i know it's now only been 2 days and probably hard to tell in such a short time with it only being her leg feathers and a little under wings she's losing feathers, but none of my other birds do this when molting. she does have pin feathers here and there which makes me believe its molting but im so unsure.

will the AI bubble really pop

I'm 20 years old, I have my whole life before me but everytime I open any form of social media I hear more worrying news about AI. I'm genuinely scared for my future and not only that - but the environment and what my generation and new generations have to deal with because of the greed of old white men. I keep seeing people talk about "the bubble popping" but it just seems like AI is getting worse and worse.

help me decide on perches

all of my perches are already sekelbos perches (like the last one) they have bark that my birds love chipping off and ive picked out a variety of thickness on the different perches. but i want to be able to switch different perches more frequently and add more outside of the cages, would the first 2 perch types be more beneficial tho? fyi i have green cheek conures and cockatiels :)

room arrangement? (OC🧠)

ignore the room measurements, just tried to replicate my room as close as possible. anyways the door in white is a glass door to the balcony, which i never use and the large cabinet is stuck to the wall from floor to roof so i cant move it. i have 2 large bird cages stacked up on eachother in the corner.

i basically just want to know if anyone has any other ideas on how i can rearrange my room, it's cozy as is but i still have the itch to move some things around.

last year early spring my girl meusli started plucking her feathers which i assume was a hormonal reaction, it was my first ever spring with her so i didn't know how she handled her hormones, needless to say she stopped and have regrown all her feathers so I'm really proud of her!

in a months time from now im going away for a week and found out recently my grandpa booked 2 weeks for us in december. we've been away before so it's nothing new but we've never been away for more than 4 days, so 2 weeks makes me anxious.

luckily my mom knows a woman who will be coming in to give our dogs and birds food & water, she's done it before and luckily my birds have no problem with her, even got photos of them climbing all over her before, but she has a family and a job to spend her time on so expecting her to spend hours here to monitor the birds while they're outside of their cage seems a lot. will my birds be okay to spend that much in a cage and what should i expect when im coming back?

I'm not planning on getting these. Simply asking opinions from bird owners!
