So I was with Amazon for almost 4 years. I was an L4 when I left. Was injured outside of work and eventually had to leave. I’m healed now and want to come back.

BUT, they are trying to say I owe them just under $5k in payments that were paid to me while I was out injured and before I left. I’ve clearly not paid it yet, I’ve been out injured for 2 years now.

Will owing Amazon money keep me from being rehire eligible? It’s letting me apply for roles and not saying I’m not eligible for rehire.

Hello! Our family is in the process of finding out if my husband is going to be transferred from Sioux Falls, SD to Houston. It will be a huge change for us but we have lived in big cities before (Baltimore for 30 years and Albuquerque for 10) we’ve been in SD for almost 4 years. We have 2 kids still at home, 1 starting 7th grade and 1 starting 9th.

If the transfer goes through, his job site will be near Humble from what we know.

What do we need to know about the Houston area before this transfer goes through and decision on where to live and where to put the kids in school need to be made?
