What is the most luxurious way to fly from the US West Coast to the East Coast?

Specifically, San Francisco to New York?

I have been flying American Airlines flagship first recently, which is generally pretty aged. Flagship business with the sliding door is exciting, and I will try that in November. I know that plenty of people are die hard Polaris or delta one, and so I would like to hear from them as to which is better. But, in particular, I would like to hear from people who have flown in multiple different products as opposed to just One that they really liked once, or someone who can really vouch for, say, Polaris, because they’ve flown only Polaris 50 times in the last year.

I don’t care about points, I don’t care about status.

I know that one loophole in all of this is taking an international flight from Asia that stops in San Francisco on its way to New York, but unfortunately those cannot be boarded in San Francisco, and I am not interested in buying a ticket from JFK to Seoul via SFO and skip lagging when I get home. If you thought of that too, two points for hufflepuff!

Thanks for perspective!

Recommend a FS preferred partner?

Hi, can you recommend a FSPP that you have worked with personally? Or see others that people have recommended and upvote them or offer your views?

FSPPs, I promise I won’t reach out if you DM… this is about crowdsourcing recommendations based on experience.

Thanks everyone!

Edit: thanks! Found one I like. But still a good post for others to find their own.

“Loyalty” program (yes I know there isn’t one, hence the quotes)

Hi all, I travel to NYC 4x per year for about 3-4 nights per stay. The FS Downtown is within company hotel budget but I could easily stay at other high end Manhattan properties too (sadly no Aman or other ridiculousness). I usually book the nicest non suite room. I don’t do work travel otherwise. Is there any “loyalty” benefit to consolidating my stays at this one property with this relatively small number of nights? I could otherwise do ritz or st Regis and earn Marriott status. I genuinely enjoy the FS but there are so many other amazing hotels in the city to explore. I know I’m posting in the FS sub so a lot of yall are stans or bots, so wanted to understand whether I’m eventually going to get any kind of status or if that’s only going to happen with more stays and or suites.

“Most unique” restaurant

Looking for a restaurant in NYC (ideally Manhattan) that features food or an experience that can’t be found anywhere else in the world.

I don’t care about Michelin stars, I’ve had them all. More interested in unique experiences. $$$-$$$$ preferred (I don’t want some beef jerky dried in a basement in the east village) but convince me. I also don’t want to be pissed on or slapped as part of my meal.

Traveling into the city for a few days and hoping to catch up with a friend at a truly unique place. What doth this crowd think?
