Would you quit or ride this job out? I can’t tell if I’m being phased out.

I work as an aesthetician at a small med spa that recently got a new owner. I’m also in nursing school, which both owners have known about.

I was originally working about 3 days a week, but after things slowed down and I asked to condense my schedule, I was reduced to 1 day a week instead.
I can make that work with school, but other things have made me uneasy.

The new owner has scheduled meetings on days she knows I’m in class, and I’ve started feeling excluded from certain things.

I also noticed I wasn’t included in new staff business cards and had to ask about it. She said she’d order mine, but it still felt odd.

There’s also a new contract being drafted that may require around 15 clients per month, which feels unrealistic on one day a week. I’ve never had any serious disciplinary issues, just normal verbal feedback.

Now I can’t tell if this is just restructuring or if I’m being slowly pushed out. I don’t necessarily want to quit, but I also don’t want to ignore signs if that’s what’s happening.

Would you stay and see how it plays out, or start planning an exit?

Am I overreacting or am I being excluded?

I work at a small med spa and one of my coworkers is having a baby shower. I recently found out that most of the other women I work with were invited, but I wasn’t.

At first, I felt pretty hurt and started wondering if they didn’t like me or if I wasn’t really part of the group. The thing is, everyone is friendly to me at work. We talk a lot, joke around, and I generally feel included.

Some additional context:

\- I’ve been working there for about 6 months.
\- I only work about 2 days a week.
\- I’ve never hung out with any of them outside of work.

The coworker having the baby has known most of the other girls for years, and one of them was already a close friend before they worked together.
The baby shower was likely planned months ago, so when invitations were probably being decided, I had only known her for around 3–4 months.

Part of me feels left out because almost all of the other women were invited, but another part of me thinks maybe I’m just newer and not in her personal friend circle yet.

Am I overthinking this? If you were in my position, would you feel hurt, or would you see this as pretty normal given the circumstances?
