Does anyone struggle with having a higher sex drive then their husband?

My problem is in the title. My husband is a once a week guy but he's going through medical residency so he is just....tired

I feel incredibly selfish for wanting/needing it so much more and I'm beginning to feel like a nag. I told myself I wouldn't initiate and just let him come to me but I just....can't, I don't have the self control. My libido is just sky rocketing in my late 30s (it's always been higher though)

It makes me feel unfeminine, unloved, not connected, grouchy when it comes up on the one week without mark.

I'm very conscious that my pestering will lead him to feeling emasculated and blow up my otherwise happy marriage. We've been together 12 years for context

Would you see Odyssey in 35mm vs IMAX Standard?

Question in title. The only Imax 70mm in NYC is impossible in that the AMC website seems to be crashing out.

Edit: got tickets for 70mm! IMAX in 70mm in NYC is a very intense scalper marketplace that I don’t have the stomach for 😂😂

How do you deal with being the Higher Drive Spouse?

I feel like such an ogre for wanting more sex than my husband. We are 37 (F) and 40 (M) and he's just tired all the time. He's in anesthesia residency and I completely understand where he is coming from but I just feel so antsy and incomplete

We have sex once a week but often that's with me pushing or planting hints. My main problem is that I use sex as stress relief and I am very stressed right now (eldercare + demanding job happening at the same time)

I also want to be pursued and I don't get that that much. I feel SO unfeminine asking to give him a blowjob bc cultural tropes are telling me that I should be batting men away with a stick

I also feel ungrateful. My husband is amazing in bed (that is seriously why I married him) and doing overnights in residency to give us a better life.

I can't blow up my marriage with my neediness...is there therapy for dealing with my sex drive? I don't even think its' that high.....but I would gladly have it every day and legit have never turned it down before ...in any relationship

Edit: I should not have used the word pushed, I wrote that too quickly and without thought. I have never proceeded past a “no” in my life. I am communicating my needs and initiating. That’s it. Thanks to everyone that didn’t make me feel like a terrible person and predator
