Movies where someone from the past is brought to the future

Always been fascinated by this idea and seeing reactions. Doesn’t even have to be “brought to the future” but someone from the past interacting with modern technologies, ideas, people, etc. I’ve tried Googling movies but that search engine is awful now and doesn’t understand what I’m looking for.

I’ve already seen Kate & Leopold and Outlander! (Love the scene where Jamie sees photographs for the first time). Thank you!

Event Planning (Co-op)

Has anyone done this program? I have a few questions and would love to hear some opinions on it!

  1. It's currently only offered online - are classes scheduled throughout the week or asynchronous?
  2. How challenging is it to find a job in this field?
  3. Would you recommend this program for someone who is not currently in this career field? (I have some retail and volunteer experience that could skill transfer)

I'm tired of working retail jobs and I'm trying to find an actual career path that would work well for me. I'm not a corporate, office-work type of person (I've tried that & hated it) so I want to try to get into something that's more people-focused.

Found my Pokemon Collection from 16 years ago!

DISCLAIMER!!!: I found the blue binder about a month ago and I have already sorted it, that’s why it looks so organized with newer sleeves lol. I included three pics at the end of my current new binder that holds all the valuable stuff I found from them. I wish I had pictures from when I found that binder because I apparently loved to collect multiples of my fav pokemon and stuff them into the same slot.

The smaller binder I just found earlier today in a closet at my childhood home! This must’ve been from 2008-2011. I have an older brother who gave me a lot of cards around this time when we were both super into pokemon. I cant believe I kept these for so long. Can’t wait to sort through them!!!

I have a ton of older base cards too that I sorted into a box.

Roommate - Questions

My roommate and I have been living in our current apartment since Jan 1, 2025. We signed a 1 year lease. We are now on a month-to-month. My roommate and I have had no issues together.

I may have to move out soon due to family matters. My roommate wants to stay in this apartment. What are the steps for finding a new replacement and how does the leasing contract work... Will they have to sign a new contract? I paid the last month's deposit, do I just forfeit that?
