Garage Upgrade

I’m looking to put in new flooring, steel cabinets, lighting rework, remove ceiling knockdown and minor drywall repair.

Looking for recommendations. Would prefer turnkey but open to coordinating with subs.

Thanks

Swordfish

We have a great fishmonger in our town and consistently have fresh just off the boat fish to choose from. The fish is topped with a balsamic fresh summer tomato vinaigrette with capers, garlic and shallots.

Served with sticky rice and arugula and a CdP.

Direct Sear

To keep things simple I prefer a direct sear using my gas grill. I had a smoke box with oak to give it some flavor. I find it interesting that direct sear is not a flair option, is everyone team indirect?

Direct Sear

I commented on a post inquiring on how to cook a thick steak and the majority of the replies were to use an indirect method, searing at the end. When I want to keep it simple I prefer a direct sear on the gas grill. Pics show the method I use which I outlined in the original post. Final rest temp was 131.

Smoked Hot Dog

I saw a post a while back where someone smoked some dogs while they had another smoke going on and thought I would give it a try.

OMG, this is without a doubt the best way to cook a dog! Crispy on the outside and so juicy with a smoked flavor. Normally I grill them on my gas grill.

I wouldn’t fire up the smoker for just a single dog but I’m always going to throw one on if I’m smoking something else.
