Should I ask my boss about this

Hello,

Two years ago, my boss (let's call person B) agreed to let me leave the office at 2pm due to heavy traffic (one of the worst freeway in the nation) and continue to work at home.

Now the office is moved to a new location where all the 10 employees will sit next to each other in an open area, including my boss.

A few days ago, I talked to my supervisor (let's call person C) and he disclosed to me that my boss and him talked to the big boss (let's called person A), who almost never comes to that open area, and the instruction from the big boss is all employees should leave office at the same time to avoid complaints from certain employees.

Next week is the first day with this new setup. My question is:

- should I keep leaving at 2pm as usual

Or

- in the morning, tell my boss that I will leave at 2pm.

Thank you.

Don't know why my kid can use his iPhone more than 2 hour limit

Hello, iPhone XS Max. OS version 18.7.9. My kid doesn't know the password I set on his iPhone for limiting his screen time. He only knows his PIN to access his iPhone. As you can see in the photo, 'All apps and categories' are limited at 2 hours. And he can use the phone way past that limit. I don't know much about iPhone so please help me to change the settings so no more screen time after 2 hours. Thank you.

Lower compartments not cold enough. Please help

Frigidaire side by side FFSS2614QS6A made in 2017.

I used (3) different Taylor freezer/refrigerator thermometers to compare side by side to make sure the thermometers reading are close within 1-2 degrees F. At settings '5' for Freezer side and '9' (coldest) on the refrigerator side, the freezer temp is between 0-5 degrees F. But there's a problem on the refrigerator side: Only the top compartment which gets cold air directly from the vent is 38 degrees F, two lower compartments temp are about 45 degrees F. To troubleshoot the problem, I took all the food and items out of the refrigerator. Turn it off for 1 day and then plug it back, still nothing inside. The return air path is clear and not clogged. At the back bottom, no dust, the compressor is normal lukewarm and its relay has no rattle inside and passed the ohmmeter test. I took the damper motor out and apply voltage separately on its motor terminals and the damper opens and closes just fine.

These are the two pictures:

The one less ice was taken on 7/21. The other one on 7/23.

According to this Youtube video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2YUNLPs4kM

At the temp less than 20 degrees F, I have checked Ohmmeter tests of the following:

- Thermostat" close to 0 ohms. So the thermostat is OK.

- Thermostat with the heat element: 80 ohms. So the heat element is OK.

At room temp, the thermistor is between 5k to 10K so it's OK.

I bought an OEM control board with correct model number and still have the same problem.

At this point I don't know what else is the cause. Please let me know how to fix this issue. Thank you.

How to make 12Vdc fan only runs when input from solar is 12Vdc

Hello,

Currently the 12Vdc fan still runs very slow and hums when the input voltage from the solar panel is less than 12Vdc. How can the fan only runs if the input voltage is 12Vdc?

I bought the LM393 voltage comparator but don't know how to use it. I don't like the fact that I have to input another power source at terminal C as the threshold voltage. It just makes things complicated. Please help. Thank you.

Frigidaire French style refrigerator. Bottom shelf temperature is more than 40 degrees F

Hello All,

We bought a French style new in 2018. It's been a few months: Top shelf got cold air from the left freezer so it's at 36 degrees F. The lower shelves is about 44-46 degrees which is not good. No internal obstruction on both sides.

The display shows number #6 for freezer and number #9 (which is max) on for the refrigerator side. The damper doesn't blow cold air or block air all the time. It seems to run and stop normally.

I think the problem is cold air can't circulate to lower shelves. It stays at the top shelf only.

No ice freezing the evaporator fan on the freezer side after I removed the plastic panel to reveal the fan and the fan is not stuck.

Back/Bottom (floor) sanity check:

- No dust obstruction.

- Panasonic condenser runs and stops but not running all the time. Most of the time the condenser temperature is 115 which is normal.

- The fan next to the condenser runs fine.

Can you please let me know what could be the problem? Thank you.
