Lost cause?

Washburn Bella Tono Allure

Really liked this guitar, would love to have it playable again. How bad is it? I moved from an arid, high altitude climate to sea level with high humidity. Could have been damaged during the move but I figured the humidity shift didnt help. The action used to feel incredible, now its mostly unplayable (atleast to my preference). String height photos included of 12th and 1st frets.

I'm pretty handy and know how to do a basic setup on electric guitars, but don't know much about acoustics. Is this something I could possibly fix on my own? I could buy it new for around $550 but I also don't want it going to waste. I can't seem to find any reputible luthiers anywhere near my town, or atleast any that advertise their services, so I'm not sure that having it professionally serviced would make sense.

Would very much appreciate some guidance on this!

This riff really is a bitch

Pretty sloppy and only 90% speed but it's just for fun.

After the Burial- Berzerker

Sorry about the UG drums 😭

NGD!

Was very underwhelmed with the Fishmans at first. After a bit of EQ they actually sound great (to me atleast). I've loved my EC-1000 since 2010 but it was time to switch it up. Was strongly considering an e-ii but the model I wanted only ships from Japan, which just felt like diminishing returns at that point. This thing rips and the action is unbelievable.

Would yall still throw some passives in there?

The Higler- VoM 😵‍💫

I'm trying to cover the full ID album by Veil of Maya and this one is really giving me troubles. Marc Okubo's writing is masterful. I find it amusing that it's tagged as "intermediate". Maybe I just suck lol. Not sure I'll be able to get a full playthrough at 100% speed anytime soon.

Any other VoM fans got this song or anything from this album locked in? Would love to discuss!

First post

About a month in to using procreate regularly. I love how every canvas teaches me something new. The matte/ construction paper-ish finish was today's lesson.

Creative idea block is my biggest battle, so I'm just happy there's a semi-finished drawing on my screen rn.

Open to critique!

See any impossible cuts?

Not attempting this anytime soon, just wanted to draw something that I can work towards. Its exactly 160 pieces and I'm still pretty green to the glass game. I added some color in pro-create but I'm colorblind so not too sure if they make sense. Main inspiration was a photo my wife took of this crow looking menacing.(picture 3) It looks like he was wearing a hood, which sparked the idea.

Was just curious if these cuts seem unreasonable or unnecessarily difficult? Still learning how to draw usable patterns.

Also, did you see the baby squirrel? 😂

Edit: Not to scale, just for fun/ practice

Does this thing look ready to foil? I'm worried some spaces might be too tight, specifically the center star. Would just spreading the whole thing out a bit be enough or do I have more grinding to do? Any and all feedback is welcome.

Edit: I fixed the overhang on 45 and 49. That seemed to help. If anyone sees anything else of concern, please let me know!

I know overframes aren't guaranteed, but I won't lie that I was sad to see that second Odd Eyes. Rarity V is a super fun rip!!
