Pick a Bone closed?

I just saw on Yelp that Pick a Bone in Fenton closed permanently. I didn’t get a chance to try it. Did they relocate?

Under Eye Patches

I’m not sure what sub to ask, but do those under eye patches work? I’ve got some significant puffiness and darkness setting in. How often do you use them? 54 y/o F

I need new knives

I’m broke, but need new kitchen knives. I need a decent set of basic knives for cooking and eating. Nothing fancy. Thanks.

Update/Edit: The set/block I have is from 1994 and until about a year ago, the were still pretty functional. I’m not sure they can be sharpened. Broke means I’m not spending $100 on knives. I appreciate all the suggestions and input. Thanks!

Reed diffuser

I’m looking for stores where I can buy reed diffusers and oils where I can actually smell the options of oil scents. Preferably Mid County to South County or South City.

Basmati white rice

I use a Pampered Chef rice cooker in the microwave to make the perfect white rice. The instructions are 2/1 water to rice and 5 minutes on high then 15 minutes on 50% power. I’m thinking of switching to basmati rice due to the lower glycemic index. I read that the water and cook time ratio is different than white rice. Is this true? Thanks.

Podiatrist Recommendations

I’m need of a Dr. for an ingrown nail. Not the Foot & Ankle Center on Watson or Lemay locations. Thanks

Edit: Something close-ish to South County if possible.

Unpretentious happy hour bar with food

Chill South City joint where regulars are welcoming. Good wings are a bonus. Thanks.

I’m making strawberry shortcake for Mother’s Day. I’m making the shortcake from the original Bisquick recipe. Do you think it would be OK to make them on Saturday night or would they be dry or hard the next day? If I make them on Saturday night (which I prefer) should I just let them cool and store in a ziplock bag or should I definitely make them on Mother’s Day?
