Thanks to the devs of Serializd and a suggestion

Hey I've been using Letterboxd for some time now but I've wanted to track my shows and as that is unavailable I was kinda sad I couldn't find a good option until I found Serializd.

This app works perfectly and everything is designed exactly as I personally would design it to be to the last detail. I can only give one suggestion actually. When you mark an episode/a season/a show as watched again, somewhere there should be a display of how many numbers of rewatches you currently have for that item.

Thanks to everyone involved in the making of this wonderful app!

One Pace saved me

I tried going through the anime and got to Zou. The pacing was making it feel like a chore. I also tried the manga. I'm so in love with the voice actors that after 50 chapters I realised how much I miss them so I dropped it, too. I got to halfway through Whole Cake Island.

Enter the One Pace. Two episodes made me fall in love again with One Piece. The editing is just wonderful. The story flows exactly how it should, I honestly will continue with One Piece only because of One Pace. I also started watching it from the beginning in One Pace and loving that, too.

Thanks to the wonderful team who keeps putting out this wonderful content. I wish I had started with it sooner but oh well.

Praise for The Expanse

About a month ago I made a post about whether I should continue with the TV series and oh wow.. It's amazing. I'm not going too fast, actually. I'm halfway through season 2 and I am absolutely hooked. I love the pacing and the visual storytelling. The dialogue is awesome.

I'm halfway through audiobook 1 as well and having a blast there, too. Storywise it's really behind the point in the TV show I'm currently at but that works wonders as I wanted to feel the visuals first so I could translate them into the audiobooks.

I'm so glad I gave the TV series a go because the first few episodes I kinda felt disconnected with everyone. Thanks to this wonderful community and the answers I received from you guys I pushed through and am happily a big supporter of both the books and the show.

Guys, help me out!

Hey guys, I need your assistance. I'm currently 7 hours into the first audiobook and have trouble at times picturing some of the scenes and atmosphere visually. I tried the first two episodes of the show and not sure how I feel about it. If I watch the whole show, will I still enjoy the audiobooks afterwards, is it better to try and imagine the characters and scenery all in my head and leave the show altogether?

I've seen many mixed reviews saying that the show gets really bad after season 3, that it is low budget and stuff like that. These reviews are a small percentage. How much different are the books and the show. I'm loving the audiobooks so far. Would you say it is worth it to supplement with the show or should I stick to the books for a more "pure" experience. I'm really not sure what to do at this point.

Edit: Thanks for the fast responses, this community is so helpful

Edit 2: It seems that I have come across a small percentage of the fandom that dislikes the Amazon work on the show. I just might read and watch simultaneously.

Edit 3: I am on episode 4 now and I am starting to love the show, thanks to everyone who helped me decide

Deep cuts and all time favourites

Okay so I have a request for you guys.

Just started my HBO journey, I'm a person who only watched movies up until now. I've only watched GoT and Breaking Bad, so I have very low knowledge in series.

First of all, thank you for your time in helping on my quality TV journey.

Recommend me your all time favourite series produced by HBO. Also, I'd love some deeper cuts and not so popular shows you can think of that have impressed you. Even if it's not strictly made by hbo, I just started my subscription and would watch anything streamed by the service.

What's your reason to stay alive?

I've been having a very bad year. I'm unable to walk normally anymore and not sure if I'll ever be able to again. I also have OCD and have been having thoughts of ending it all from all the crushing pain I am experiencing.

Please share your motivation to stay alive.
