I noticed this morning that one of her leaves is turning crispy brown at the edge and some stems were brown at the base and fell off... She doesn't get direct sunlight, she is near a window and was doing perfect until now.

We currently have a heatwave in spain and the ceiling fan and AC are constantly on, can that have an effect?

My boyfriend top waters it abundantly once every week and something, when the soil is dry. The pot is made up of normal soil like for all kinds of plants and perlite.

Also, in the second picture I see some dots and tiny white stuff. Is this normal??

This is the second one i have purchased (rip to the first one), I got it yesterday and I want to do it right this time. It is my first time staking any plant whatsoever and need input on if there is something I am doing wrong or could do better!

Should I soak the pole in water a bit? I've seen a few spots on the internet where it says that..?

Also, should I repot it soon?
