I just started last week and I’m rank 25 in the shop so far. What are some good things to buy before the next season starts? I have 600 tickets so far.
I also got fallout 1st for a month because my stash was already full so I have around 2500 Atoms to spend.
Preferably looking for things that can help me long term, instead of cosmetic items.

I started last week and have been playing with just whatever weapons I’ve been getting, I got a Two-Shot level 45 10mm pistol that I have been mostly using.
Yesterday I did an event and it gave me a really good bow, Burning Love, and I’ve been using it ever since. I went from level 60ish to 82 with just that bow.
I don’t have any mods for the arrows, I can only do standard arrows. But even with standard arrows, using a camouflage armor piece, sneak, and a few bow perks, I am doing so so much more damage now, it's so much more fun than the pistol/random weapons I'd been using up to this point!!
How do I make the specialty arrows, like cryo or plasma arrows for example? Want to try those since I see there are perks to make that type of damage better.

UPDATE -- Thanks all for the tips, I finally found a Scavenger Trader with all the Plans for the various arrow mods. Took all day but at least it's done!! They were 1500 caps each, so now I'm basically broke lol.
What. The. Hell!
I was used to using water pumps to hydrate as it is in Fallout 4 but apparently here I can get Dysentery just from that.
I just started a couple days ago, and I’ve definitely got much to learn! The perks system is taking getting used to also.
Been hopping around doing public events and level 17 already even tho I’ve only done two actual quests to progress the story.
FO4 is the only fallout game I’ve played but I wanted to get fallout 76 since it’s on sale on Steam for $10. I’ve got about 900 hours into FO4.
Is it still worth starting up with the base Fallout 76 game (not sure if there also DLCs)?
And any tips and tricks that may help a brand new player into the FO76 game?

Requires you DO NOT EVER go inside the mole rat cave
You get respawning Junk for scrap and tools to save to sell to Vault 81. Plus three glowing fungus and even a brain fungus.
Also nearby is a respawning Steamer Trunk half buried in the ground plus tons of Wild Mutfruit.
This whole little section is an early game goldmine for my Survival runs when I’m in this area a lot anyways.
