Terapia psychodynamiczna: polecajki?

Hej, szukam jakichś dobrych terapeutów prowadzących terapię z nurtu psychodynamicznego (wyłącznie terapeutów, którzy faktycznie ukończyli psychologię), najlepiej kobiety. Ewentualnie jakbyście mieli z kimś złe doświadczenia, to możecie mi też odradzić wizyty u kogoś xd

Is this hirsutism or just a lot of body hair?

If this helps, I have black hair in general. Is this relatively normal hair growth, or is it hirsutism? I DO have diagnosed hyperandrogenism, so it is very likely it might be hirsutism, but still.

Edit: This is my stomach if it wasn’t obvious lol

Weird, painful, persistent growth on my neck. What is it?

On the first and last photo, I’m squeezing the skin on my neck, so you can see what shape it has.

About a week ago, I’ve developed extremely dry skin on my neck. It is gone now, but it has left this sort of growth on my neck. I can freely move the skin around, but it hurts. I would say that the “free” part of this growth is kind of like a keratin growth, it’s not exactly coloured like my skin, is dry/rough to touch and looks scaly. It’s painful whenever I press it or move it around. At first when it appeared I tried scratching it off because I thought it was just some patch of dry skin, but it instantly grew back (like literally right away). The base of this growth (the one that’s actually in my skin) is red, but I suspect it might be because I was moving it around.

What is it? How can I remove it? It looks so bad…

I’m trying to change my cat’s diet but I’m FAILING

Hi, so. Long story short: my cat is picky, probably was raised by very shitty owners or even on the streets, and I think because of that he’s used to eating raw meat. We’ve had him for awhile, and just did this “diet” of one packet of cat food, and then one portion of meat; both divided into 2 portions, so he would have 4 meals. He’s on the heavier healthy side of weight, so I guess it was fine. But at one point he completely started refusing to eat any sort of cat food that’s wet. So essentially, he started licking the sauce off the wet food, and then would wait until the meat. My mom (I was underaged at that point and she’s his main caretaker, I guess) got kind of scared of that, so he started getting the meat daily. He still gets the wet cat food in the morning, but he (still) doesn’t really eat it.

That part where he refuses to eat the wet food has started quite recently, hence my concern. At first I didn’t think much of it, but I’ve started reading about nutritional value of this sort of “diet” and I’m kind of scared he’s malnourished or something. Just to be clear, those aren’t scrapes from our food, the meat is specifically bought for him, usually served raw. The meat source is good (it’s human-grade meat) and the vet never had any concerns about his digestive system nor did he ever get sick, so. But I’m scared about the fact that essentially, he’s just eating that meat and nothing more (maybe some dry food that’s always in the kitchen so he can snack. We do that because unless I’m off school then basically everyone is absent for 9 hours).

So I went along with my concern, and started trying to “switch” his diet. Of course I know I can’t just give him a bowl of cat food randomly and expect it to work. I’ve been trying to incorporate different kinds of cat food in the meat I’m giving him. I’ve noted that, when he is given cat food that has sauces or jelly then he at least eats that jelly/sauce (but doesn’t eat the actual food), he never eats pates.

Problem is, he just picks out the meat (that doesn’t have cat food on it), eats the meat, leaves the rest. I just really don’t know how to do this any other way.

Does anyone have some advice?

Res, dry, burning, spreading rash on neck for a few days

19, female, I have psoriasis, I don’t have allergies. This is not sunburn because I didn’t have a chance to get sunburn. There are two unaffected areas: one shown on the photo (the white part right below ear. It started with this small bump visible in the middle of my neck and has spread to the sides of my neck.

It’s very dry and the skin there is shedding. This is definitely not psoriasis, because it doesn’t scale, and doesn’t react to Protopic at all. It burns and itches (but I would say the itching is rather caused by burning than a symptom itself). The only other thing worth mentioning is that I woke up with a slightly swollen face (like very slight, maybe bloating would be a better word, but my lips were also swollen) and my eye was itching really bad yesterday. I guess that could be like an allergy, but I didn’t put any new products on my neck? And I’m not exactly known for having allergies, so I’m not really sure. The burning is horrible when I put any cream on it, or when I wash it. The skin is also kind of tight in this area.

I was also very stressed recently, and this rash has started like a day before the stressful event, maybe this is also relevant? I used to have eczema as a kid.

Spreading, dry, red rash on neck that I’ve had for a few days

Female, 19, I have psoriasis, I don’t have allergies.

It’s itchy and it burns (the second one specifically), the skin on this area feels extremely tight. This is not sun burn, I don’t tan red, and I also didn’t have any chance to get sunburn. The skin there is peeling, I also have this weird, skin tag like pimple where the inflammation first started. The rash is tight and dry, it spreads (was much lesser a few days ago) and it’s red. You can see the difference where it, for some reason, didn’t spread. I have this unaffected area in the middle of my throat as well.

I have psoriasis and used to have eczema as a kid. I doubt it’s psoriasis, it doesn’t even react to Protopic. Could it be an allergic reaction? But I have no idea what has caused it, I haven’t been using any new products, definitely not on my neck.

So… What happened to my skin?

I’m genuinely very upset about this. It’s not like something specific is bad about my skin now, but it has gotten so much worse than it was back then. I loved going out without makeup and everyone would always compliment me on it, and now it never happens and I’d rather put at least concealer on. What happened? How can I make it better? :(

Edit: Yes I use sunscreen. This is not sun damage.

I can study a major for a year – I’m conflicted between biotechnology, biochemistry and neuroscience.

Hi, so – I don’t know if calling the exams we have in my country the same as A-levels is 100% correct, but – I wanted to get into medicine, but unfortunately, I think I wrote both of my A-levels (chemistry and biology) for like 75%, which makes me ineligible to get into the two universities I wanted to (I’d need 84% or above). I don’t know the results yet but well, I’ve studied a bit too little, so this is 100% believable for me.

I plan to use my gap year to study something that I wanted to study. I will (probably) drop out after I retake my A-levels (if I get good results), but essentially, if I decide that I’m seeing myself in the field I chose for that gap year, then I’ll probably just stay there. I’m much more interested in scientific studies than medicine, but I’m even more interested in money (😭) and neurosurgery, so.

I’m kind of conflicted about choosing one between those three. Mostly because: I want to go for neuroscience, BUT taking biotechnology will be much more useful for me, because I will be quite literally studying the same things I did for my finals, just more advanced, in more detail. Also if I decided to stay in that field, I guess that biotechnology or biochemistry are much broader than neuroscience, hence more employment opportunities. That university that I want to go is really well-ranked, so I think I’d get quite a lot of possibilities to explore. But then, I also am almost 100% sure that I WILL be switching majors, so I guess it doesn’t really matter that much after all.

So I wanted to ask a few things about that majors:

  1. What do you *actually* do there? Those undergrads are quite “underground” (lmfao) in my country, so I kind of struggle to find people talking about what they’re doing there, and the descriptions from the university itself are also not very telling. I suppose that from those three, neuroscience will be the most theoretical, no?
  2. Which one gives the most employment opportunities? Which one the least? Or maybe some of those are completely “worthless” and it’s hard to find jobs after graduating?
  3. I really like Chemistry

(more than biology, but chemistry doesn’t like me back, lol.) Is biochemistry the best choice when it comes to amount of chemistry in course program? (The wording of this is so bad sorry I don’t know how to put it.)

  1. I am also very interested in forensics. Would any of those majors permit me to work in forensic labs?

I’ve got to say, I’ve actually wanted to study neuroscience since I was 11, so perhaps I should just go with it, but I also find biotech really interesting. I thought maybe some answers could help me make a choice? Thank you in advance:)

EDIT: Update:
My country’s new law requires every medical lab technician to have finished medical analytics as a major. So consider that I couldn’t do any work in medical fields specifically (though I thought it was obvious but I’m mentioning it just in case). I also don’t want to work in my country, but that’s probably the case abroad as well.

4x^3 - 12x^2 - x + 3 = 0
4x^2 (x-3) - (x-3) = 0
(x-3) (4x^2 - 1) = 0

I understand the first (under point 2 transformation), but not the third one. I’ve always struggled with this, I just don’t see it. Why does it get seperated that way?

Edit: I’m sorry, I don’t why the superscript isn’t working 💔

Edit2: sign error
