A Possible Dale solution when it comes to Randall

This has most likely already been mentioned or thought off before, but something they could have done is keep him prisoner until his friends/group moved to another area and then they release him.

Firstly; the likelyhood of them moving away is pretty high. From the conversation Rick has with Dave and Tony we get the impression that they are living a nomadic lifestyle now, mentioning how far they have travelled, how they are living in their cars and how they "cant stay out there". They are clearly only surviving by scavenging whatever they can find and moving on to the next place, meaning that they are going to be around in the farm's area for only so long before they run out of food and they have to travel yet again. Rick's group doesn't have that problem; they are at a farm with resources like chickens and water plus whatever other supplies they have. Meaning they can just stay put and wait until Randall's group has moved on to another area. Now sure; it's entirely possible that Randall's group will still move towards the farm, but that can happen regardless of what you do to Randall(and in the event that his group does show up you can use him as a hostage). What most likely will happen is that they just move out of the area. At that point they should release Randall like how Rick and Shane would have done.
At that point it will be very hard for him to find his group again; he would first have to find his way back to their original camp spot, then try and find any lead on where they went, and catch up to his group who have vehicles and have been driving away from him for quite a while. I simply don't think that Randall could be capable of doing that, so there's just a very small possibility that he comes back with his group.
Secondly regarding the aftermath; Randall's group isn't looking for either him or Rick's group, since they think Randall is dead and except him everybody of that group who ever directly talked to Rick is dead. So they wouldn't have a good idea of who killed Dave and Tony, other than a vague memory of what he sounded like. And when it comes to Randall being a problem himself; i think even he wouldn't be that stupid to try to do anything violent. It's not impossible for him to harm someone at the farm(assuming he would know how to get back there after rick and shane drove him away) but he would at most be able to kill like 1-2 people before being caught, after which he would surely be killed in a brutal way as punishment.

I think Rick and his group could have thought of this solution, especially considering most of this plan comes from information that Rick, Glenn and Hershel all would have heard. I do understand why they and anyone else for that matter would still kill Randall, simply because it's the best way of making sure that he doesn't do anything stupid. At the same time what Dale said is also true; killing Randall means turning savage, and the longer you are savage the harder it becomes to go back to the previous world.

question about food related illnesses

So lately i've started to play dayz, and take it a bit more seriously than last time. Even though i think i've learned already a lot, it's clearly not perfect since my last and current character both have food related illnesses. My last character contracted Cholera by drinking from a bottle i found on the ground (i didn't know this was bad), and my current character contracted Salmonellosis from eating with bloody hands.
Now i looked it up on the wiki and apparently both diseases can be cured with a healthy enough immune system, and i assume that that means getting your cores up high enough by eating/drinking small amounts at a time.
Last time with the cholera i tried bringing up my immune system to the required level, and my food and drink cores were up in the white for a solid 10 minutes without the sickness going away. Eventually i ran out of food and was just done waiting so i decided that i'd rather start over so i killed myself.
With this character i have some stuff i'd rather not lose tho, so now im wondering; how high do your cores need to be in order for salmonellosis to be cured by your immune system? is it just white or do they have to be full full? Or does it eventually after a long while get cured regardless of how high they are?(like in the yellow)

should rocket artillery be more accurate?

so i did some testing today with rocker artillery and i was honestly kinda suprised with how inaccurate it really is. To those who haven't tried it; you'll put your marker directly on the enemy tank and the rockets will hit like 5 meters/right beside it. In the few (3/4) attempts i had in training (so stationary targets) i only managed to kill an enemy tank once, and i have a strong suspicion that that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the single rocket that knicked the turret and caused the whole thing to explode.
Now my first reaction is obviously WTF, like it's almost comical how inaccurate it is. The reasonable thing to do would be to make it more accurate, but then i thought; would that be too op?
Part of me says absolutely not, since it's first of all premium/event squad exclusive (as far as i know at least), it takes 10 seconds for the rockets to come down, it can be stopped by terrain/buildings, it has a cool down, and there's practically nothing preventing the tank from just moving out of the way. I'd say that this is about as useful as a rocket launcher, tank or plane at taking out enemy vehicles or worse.
But the other part of me wants to make sure that you don't break the game by making it more accurate, so that's why i ask you now; should rocket artillery be more accurate?

why didn't Chick create another caution during the dinoco 400?

https://preview.redd.it/jzlvo1w1g7bh1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=7fbb41fbd01d1405bbdaa4287a1e823c5cc0001e

So the whole thing was that after that big wreck he caused mcqueen made it through, didn't pit, chick did and then he had "a lot of ground to make up". Then the race restarts on lap 200/400 and during that time we only ever see Chick moving his way through the pack which ultimately wouldn't have worked if it weren't for mcqueen blowing his tires.
But im wondering; why didn't chick just create another caution?
Like i get that this movie clearly isn't realistic, but in theory if he creates another caution later in the race after his last pitstop and mcqueen still hasn't pitted for tires, then mcqueen's lead will be gone and then chick with his fresher tires can (hypothetically) go past him easily. Now even if this wouldn't work because pixar seemingly thinks that running on old tires only increases the risk of a blowout and i guess ignoring the speed/grip advantage new tires give, it would still reduce that gap that mcqueen has at the end of the race.
A hypothetical scenario would be that with like 5 laps to go chick wrecks whoever is running in 4th and it causes a caution, then that lead that mcqueen has is gone and then they can properly race for the lead. It's not a guaranteed win but it's better for chick than the eventual scenario we see play out.
We know chick isn't opposed to creating cautions, so why didn't he here?

anyone else find that one reload bug/"feature" very annoying?

so the specific bug or whatever you call it im talking about, is when you are reloading your gun and i guess right before the animation is fully complete you press fire, but because your gun technically didn't fully reload the old magazine is still in there. And if it's empty your boned. So i was wondering if anyone else has this issue and why the game just doesn't just force you to reload the entire way until another magazine is in there again, because i have died one too many times to this.

you can get up to the airplane at crawler. (link automatically goes to the relevant bit)

idk how easy it is for people to figure this out on their own, but perhaps they didn't want to risk doing it themselves. Anyway; if you jump just right you can get up onto where the plane is. There isn't a whole lot to do there since there's no loot (as far as i could see) and you can see just as much if you stand under that little runway, but i thought it was neat anyway. I also enjoy seeing that zero that's normally destroyed in the swamp now in all it's glory ready for take off.

▲ 100 r/Manhunt

(gore) i have a question about the gore/violence for a potential third game.

so something that i thought about recently (my apologies if 5 other people have asked this this week already) is about the potential concern about the gore and violence featured in a hypothetical third manhunt game. Because the thing is that we already have seen a lot of violent parts/scenes in games for the past 10 years (above are some examples), and at least as far as i am aware society/the gaming industry never really made a big fuss about it. I can see how people obviously might still talk about those parts in both horror and awe, but what i am trying to say is that as far as violence and gore goes; we have seen some stuff. Now obvoiusly there are a lot more factors to why a third game probably won't be made; like how the world and it's interests has moved on as a whole since 2007 or rockstar simply not wanting to take the risk (i silently hope that after gta 6 (online) they might be a bit cocky and try it).
But i was kinda wondering; has the "it will be too violent/gory, especially with realistic graphics" argument truly lost some of it's weight over the years? or is it still a genuine point to be made and a reason for why manhunt 3 will not happen?

so im just wondering about what his stance is on evolution considering he is both a christian and seemingly interested in free thought/science. I reckon that most things i have learned about christianity is from him so im wondering if he has ever explained how he thinks the earth and man was created. Is he blindly following what's said in the bible and does he perhaps think that dinosaurs aren't real?, or does he have a less extreme opinion?
