Oof, did I just miss my window at el beso?
So, I’m trying to book 5 nights in October for my 20th anniversary. I researched and thought el beso might be the best balance/value for what we were looking for. I priced it out yesterday on Expedia and a 5 night stay in upgraded room, flights, and ride from hotel was about 2400$…today I looked and it’s about 2900$.
I assume they sold enough rooms to feel comfortable raising the price…or maybe just had a deal expire…either way, adding an extra 500$ seems to shift it into similar territory to “nicer” places. Do all inclusive shift up and down a lot or am I out of luck?
I’ve read a million reviews and watched just about every YouTube video about resorts in Cancun, DR, playa del Carmen, and many other areas… hope I see the price come back down or find another place to stay.
Thanks
Software Update Query
Ok,
I guess I missed an update back in October (wasn’t OTA?) and now there is a navigation update in July. I bought a thumb drive (64gb) and downloaded update (the latest because I couldn’t find the October one). I have the car charged overnight at 100% (typically only go to 80%), but when I insert the thumb drive I get a message saying “no usable files”. When I open up set up/general I get a message saying: 12v battery needs to charge (as seen in the photo). Any guidance on what else to try to get this car updated?
Thanks
Oof… Best Buy open box.
Two weeks ago I purchased a 75u7qg open box from Best Buy, but it was too big to fit in my car. They held it for a week, but my kid was sick.
Today, I rented a U-Haul and bought the same tv. Best Buy brought it out but not in a box, it had been bubble wrapped. I brought it home and opened it up and found a spiderweb of cracks from a clear collision, like something heavy impacted the screen… had to take it back right away.
Back to my tv search.
Weighing options for 75u7qg
So,
Best Buy is getting ride of the u7qg to make room for the u7sg (I think that’s the new model). My local store has a display set for sale at 573$. I know the set has a lot of hours used, but I also feel like it has proven it’s not one of the duds that you hear about due to lack of quality control.
I’m considering taking the risk and getting extended warranty, but any reason you can think of why it’s a bad idea?
I sit about ten-12 feet from screen…room is bright during the day due to huge windows… mostly watch movies/tv…some sports, but not really any gaming.
Any guidance is a big help.
