Lucky Pierrot in Hakodate

A very eccentric looking store with a decent menu. Lucky Pierrot is definitely a vibe and a Hakodate only chain of Shops. They now have some english on their menu and you can use a credit card to pay!

Ajishin Fukuoka

Had Ajishin for dinner tonight. Shoyu and Shio Tonkotsu is on the menu. I had the Shoyu with Egg and extra negi. The egg looked amazing from the outside but it was hard boiled. Ramen was a slightly thick broth with a Salty umami note to it. Using a tablet to order from, it has english and that's easy mode. Trying to scroll through the extras and options was tricky but not sure if it was just the tablet we were using or a general design flaw with the software they're using.

Kairyu Fukuoka

Had this place on my list for a while and happened to be in the area and ticked it off !the master is very friendly and welcoming, Tonkotsu funk lingers in the air as you walk it. Ramen was delicious and thick Kurume style. The Egg was perfect and the Chashu delicious. Fresh garlic on the table too if you wish to add it.

Chicken Paitan Shoyu Ramen From Ginza Kagari in Melbourne Australia

I definitely prefer this to the standard Chicken Paitan. Got the extra toppings, the chicken is so soft, juicy and delicate. The Chashu is not bad and the egg is good too. It's not cheap, and I feel for the price, mensho is a better option. But then again, mensho was a lot different from the first time I had it when Shono san was making the bowls (day 2 soft opening without the hype) compared to a few months later. Ginza Kagari is definitely a bowl you should try though, ramen is like Pokemon. You gotta eat them all!

Iekei ramen at Joetsuya in Joetsu

Had the small Chashu Iekei today. Probably my favourite bowls of Iekei so far. The Chashu had a Smokey taste to it which was really nice and the Soup was just right.
