Is this worth buying?
I am gender non-binary but typically perceived as female, I was born female, & just about 10 years ago I legally changed my name & gender marker to male. I was then (unknowingly) registered in the Selective Service. I no longer identify or seek to be perceived as male (actually for the past 7ish years), can I remove myself from the Selective Service & how?
Just under a week ago I asked some local resources for help to switch careers & during the intake process, we discovered that I was registered with the Selective Service. I never willingly or knowingly signed up; if I knew that legally changing my gender marker would do that then I would have NEVER done it. (I got all the validation & love I needed from the beautiful people in my life, being recognized by the government was just the cherry on top at that time.)
My birth certificate says female & my current state-issued driver's license says "X" for my gender marker. I'd be willing to legally change my gender back to female if it removed me from the Selective Service as gender carries almost no importance to me anymore.
I'm not touching it, I was just trying to show its size compared to my hand. He's also biting at it a lot.
So back on 4/24/2026 he got attacked by 3 dogs & we got him to the pet hospital that night (almost a 4-hour drive 1 way). The vet said that he was already showing signs of infection, but not the regular kind of infection, it was like "infected tissue" or something? The vet said it wasn't like a cyst that pops, it was more like a soaked sponge.
They gave him Clavamox 250mg (2 tablets every 12 hours) (40 tablets total) & Carprofen 100mg (½ tablet in am, ¾ tablet in pm) (14 total); he took them all as prescribed. He was already on Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg (2 tablets 2 times a day) (120 total) because of his anaplasmosis, prescribed on 4/16/2026. He also has another ball just like this on his other arm but it's about ⅓ or ½ smaller. I have an appointment with our regular vet on 5/14/2026. I'm also going to buy him Purina Pro Plan FortiFlora Powder for his belly. Maybe related, something about his snout is bothering him, he's rubbing his snout raw & it's getting swollen, I rubbed it clean with plain water & a clean paper towel but I'm not sure that did anything for him.
Over watering? Root-bound? Too much chlorine? It lived in a very dark spot so I just moved it yesterday. I'll buy a white/blue led light for it tonight. This is the soil & pot it came in.
I'm trying to abandon Samsung before it fully becomes Google. I know nothing about this stuff. I can't even tell you the difference between RAM & regular memory. I don't need bells & whistles, the Samsung Galaxy S10 works great for me (except I would go for a better camera but I should just buy a nice camera anyways).
I'll adapt wherever I need for the limitations but I just need to make the jump & exercise Google from my life.
