Starting solids with suspected dairy intolerance/allergies?

My baby is almost 7 months and I'm doing a terrible job starting solids. She has a suspected dairy intolerance. I dont know where to start with what to give her. I know I need to test allergens, but her intolerance now makes me anxious to test these (or anything...) out. I read nourishing traditions, weston price website, and have tried only a couple things. Meat stock, sweet potato, blueberries, carrots and steak. Ground beef may have bothered her too.

How do you start solids?! Im afraid that my fear is making this a self fulfilling prophecy. I need to just push through.

Senior dog weight gain after tplo

My sweet 9 year old mini aussie is 20 pounds over weight. She was 25lbs and healthy until she had tplo surgery 2 years ago, and has gained 20 lbs since then.

Even when her leg was injured shed run and play. We used to go on walks every day. We got the surgery because the vet said that was best for her quality of life to continue running and playing. Ever since surgery, shes been a potato. She no longer plays at all, just barks. Her surgery healed well and we had it checked again at 1 year and it looked great. Shes on daily dasaquin, fish oil and has rimadyl for the rough days with arthritis. She eats science diet perfect weight, the vet told us the exact amount. Blood work looks good.

Is there any suggestions on what I can do to help my girl? Shes really sad. You can see she wants to play. I dont know what else to do for her. We are working with a wonderful vet, just wondering if something has worked for another dog that I havent heard about. Thank you!!

Starting solids encouragement?

My baby is 6.5 months and I'm just so anxious, I have terrible PPA. Shes 19lbs and following her curve well, EBF.

She had mucous (and green for a month at 2 months) and has had specks of blood a couple times. She still has tons of mucous always. The doctor had me trial dairy in my diet and butter, cheese didnt change the mucous. When I tried cooked heavy cream she didn't poop for a day and then it was very watery. Didnt see blood but didn't want to keep trying either? Not even sure if 2-3 blowouts counts as a fail.

So far for solids shes only had sweet potato, blueberry, carrot and we let her chew on steak but she didnt really touch it.

I have so much anxiety around feeding I dont know how to push through. I believe she reacted to apples in my diet but otherwise im not sure if shes still reacting or if mucous is just her normal and im over dramatic. She still has mucous with the little shes eaten.

She wants to eat so bad. I was hoping to hear some encouragement on facing your fears and how that went for you? Did you start slow or all in? Any advice? I was so excited and now im just stressed.

Thank you!!

Can I get my slacker boob to produce more 6 months pp?

My right side is producing less and less. I had nipple damage so she didn't like that side for a long time. Im only using it 2-3x a day, she nurses on the other side almost every hour sometimes two hours.

Can i do anything to up the production again? I try putting her on that side more often but it doesn't seem like shes getting a let down. Shes just starting solids but I wish she could nurse from both sides so she gets more.

I worry a lot.

Thank you!!

Did weaning end your anxiety?

I have really severe postpartum anxiety and maybe a little depression. Everyone's solution? Stop breastfeeding.

I had a rough start and now at 5.5 months it's mostly smooth. My baby is a snacker and eats almost every hour, wont nurse in public at all. But for the most part thats fine with me.

Yesterday I accidentally cut the tip of her thumb trimming her nails. Went to my neighbor for help, shes a nurse, and ended up at urgent care because we couldn't stop the bleeding. All they did was wrap it up and I feel so stupid for going there. Anxiety spiraling. And everyone just continues to tell me to stop breastfeeding or asks when I plan to use formula.

My first was formula fed and I didnt have ppa/d. But I was younger and it was before the death of my father. I think his death has permanently altered my brain and its hard not to worry about the little things and all the things that can go wrong.

Did weaning your baby actually stop your fears, sadness ect? I dont want to stop if I dont have to. Just hoping to be reassured that breastfeeding isnt the reason for all my problems.

I cant handle meds even when im not breastfeeding and I dont have a village close by. But im trying my best to change the way I think!

Do you put anything in the bottom of container?

I've used 5 gallon buckets successfully without anything extra. Last year we used mineral tubs and didn't have much of a harvest. Should I put something on the bottom to help drainage? We did drill plenty of holes in them like always

My baby is almost 5 months and at 17lbs I think im ready to upgrade her chicco keyfit already. Shes the size of a 9 month old.

Torn between these 2 seats. I drive a gmc acadia. We are about to go on a 7 hour road trip and I want her to be safe and comfortable. Won't mind upgrading whenever she's forward facing but hopefully this seat will last while rear facing for a few years?

Any reviews on either seat? Thank you!
