Why is my gimp in the void with a bong. Genuinely no idea why it's in the sky?

Maybe four different kinds of lil guys in my terrarium. All from my neighbors yard in northern Georgia.

Any suggestions? There's space under the stones to hide, they've loved the wood chips from an oak, and hopefully the moss will grow in on the wet side. My goal is to keep things local, native and ideally free. There's a drainage layer and some charcoal underneath the soil. Very worried about mold, but I do have a thriving springtail population.

Planted a random seed in my sage and it actually started growing. I feel like it's way too hot and sunny where it is, but know absolutely nothing about making an indoor set up. Help please! Edit: I guess my main question is, would buying a set up be worthwhile vs making my own?
