Chanyeol's "TABI" album

Why the hell isn't SM promoting Chanyeol's "Journey" album. I don't understand it really. You have your main rapper singing as good as he does—better than vocalists of some groups and you can't bank on that?

In addition, you'd think that with less members to focus on now they'd go all out for the active members of the group. Chanyeol sings so well (his raspy tone is to die for), writes, raps, produces and plays instruments..why won't SM care enough to promote him in this regard? His albums since "Upside Down" have been so good, I don't get it honestly.

I don't know what to call this

When I was young and in boarding school, my parents used to get into many arguments, mostly towards opening day. It was mostly due to finances—both of them worked, mum was an educationist and dad a banker. Roles were divided such that mum=household management, paying the housekeeper and miscellaneous stuff, dad=school fees, rent, car bills (if one wasn't able to pay they'd help each other out of course).

Mum used to take me shopping for school stuff, things like sanitary towels and innerwear. Whenever they argued, dad would be the one to take me shopping. I'd avoid taking the above-mentioned items out of embarrassment and feeling uncomfortable to try out innerwear sizes.

In the process of sticking it to dad to show him how more expensive my shopping was, being the only girl and needing more items out of 3 kids, she didn't/maybe she did realize she was hurting me too. I didn't need to act like I had forgotten to buy pads and had my school matron get me some, I needed my mum. Anyway, this extended to some visiting days when only dad showed up. He didn't need to tell me that they had argued. I remember writing a letter that they should just divorce cause the arguments were just too much. Throughout the arguments, I started feeling guilty for existing, asking for and wanting things.

I'm 31 now, I find it hard asking for help and for simple things such as hugs. When people treat me to nice things I feel so undeserving so I try to refund their efforts in various ways. It sucks.

Is there a name for this um, should I say feeling? If anyone can relate, what did you do about it? Thanks.

This is probably trivial, or maybe not. I just found it "funny"

So, the other day a colleague of mine left work too early. Something urgent came up, he's the one assigned to handle it. The boss called him, the admin, everyone who was in called him and texted but he didn't respond. The boss did the work late into the night (he didn't have a draft of said task—no one else knows the colleague's password to access the docs needed).

The next day, I took my work for signing, the boss then told me to ensure that certain docs need to always be ready for when his seniors ask for them. I felt the need to defend myself because mine have always been ready and updated. I don't love my job at all but I still show up cause I'm still an employee there, and iin the end I'm still liable.

The admin said what I did was unprofessional, that I shouldn't have commented. I thought no way, no way am I going to just take a misdirected comment when I'm always busting my a*s off🙄. If sb messes up, it shouldn't apply to everyone else but to the individual. Funny that when one does good, is promoted etc, it's an individual thing.

Good, funny, interesting things you noticed from MVs

I was just rewatching the HOT MV and uh 😂😂S.Coups shoes are interesting. It's right when he's singing the chorus the second time, he's wearing a striped outfit and is squatting (if you pause at exactly min 1:04).

At first I thought it was a metal bar or sth like that covering his left foot but then I saw his right one. If I wore those I'd look like a troll.

From the Thunder MV, there's a lady (painted blue), I've noticed her in many scenes in the MV but never at the beginning with Mingyu (0:36 seconds).

Curious about your problem(s) with variety content

I'll start. I dislike the compete-in-order-to-eat "games". Idk if the losers of the "games" eventually eat (sometimes they show them getting a bite), but it's edited to seem like they ate nothing. Either way I don't find it "fun" to see them drooling over it when the winners are eating.

Perhaps it's because I come from a country where food isn't something to toy with/use against sb. We may be poor, food maybe scarce, but everyone gets to eat sth. The industry in general has a weird thing with idols and food, but this specific one man I just hate it.

KQ going public

Given the comeback, I'm curious on the progress of KQ going public if anyone has an informed info or take on it.

I remember the last 2 comebacks had conversations of this, so far I haven't seen a post on the same for the imminent comeback. Thanks in advance.
