From the Pajaronian: Tony Nunez and John Laird secure millions for Watsonville Hospital

“Nuñez also credited Sen. John Laird for advocating on behalf of the hospital.

“I’m really grateful for the advocacy from John Laird and the role that he’s played in keeping not only the hospital open, but also all of the services intact over the last four years,” Nuñez said.”

Agree completely with this statement by our sub moderator. Orangelover of course never responded.

“Orangelover this is one of your most shameful posts ever. Attacking and slandering a small, minority owned business because they support their friend who IS pro train (but not with the full throated cult like dedication that you seem to display) is utterly disgraceful and a clear display that you refuse to operate honestly or in good faith.

You should be ashamed of yourself for this post.

Try to see the nuance in reality. Try to understand the tradeoffs that will affect South county residents if we prioritize the train over other badly needed services. Think out of your narrow idealogical box for just a minute. Try to understand that you might be wrong. Grow up. Be better.

Unfortunately you will do none of those because you think your are righteous and seemingly lack the self awareness to stop and ever question yourself.

I await your reply where you will surely do none of those things and double down on your position.”

5 out of 7 posts are from orangelover. I’m not sure if mods are aware that user spams every sub in Santa Cruz even into Monterrey with unending conspiracy about a tiny nonprofit ruling everything & everyone in Santa Cruz. The only place they don’t spam is the Capitola sub (I mod there and stop it).

is this sub orangelovers’ personal political sub or is it about Watsonville? u/hootygator

Tony Nunez Endorsed by Lookout Santa Cruz, even more glowing than the Sentinel Endorsement.

“In this race for District 4 county supervisor, Tony Nuñez stands out as the candidate offering a clear break from business-as-usual politics and a stronger focus on engagement, responsiveness and long-term community vitality.”

Tony Nuñez is the full time Marketing and Communications Manager for Community Bridges, delivering fundamental resources to the people of Santa Cruz County and North Monterey County. He is also the Chair of the Wastonville Community Hospital Board amongst other Board positions and a lifelong Watsonville resident.
