Hi, has anyone seen any aftermarket panoramic sunroof shades for the Neue Klasse ix3 for sale (in the US)? The dealer charging $240 for the OEM shade seems steep for such a basic device. I don't have the car yet, but hoping to have the shade on hand for day 1.
As a US buyer, I’ve been trying to decide between Ocean Wave Blue and Polarized Grey, but no dealers seem to have color panels or models to look at. There’s photos online but it was hard to compare the colors since photos and videos are taken in different lighting. So I happen to be in Australia and was able to see the color panels together, in different lighting conditions.
Some things I noticed.
- The blue has more noticeable sparkly paint flakes in it than the grey.
- Online photos of the polarised grey seemed to have a hint of purple in it in certain lighting conditions, which I would have liked. I didn’t not see that here (though admittedly I also didn’t see a whole car in this color). In darker lighting the polarize grey can look slightly blue.
- Online photos of the ocean wave blue seemed kind of greyish blue. In person it was more vivid blue than I expected, but not eye popping blue. It still had some grey in it.
The polarised grey could look more formal and I might have enjoyed that but seeing these helped me decide to go with ocean wave blue. I like color.
I’ve seen another thread with a similar question, but top answer there is that a routine has been set. But I checked my Alexa app and I have no such routine. Why is it doing this and how do I stop this?
