Have you ever rejected someone you like?
Im a 22F and i have a work crush whos a 21M, a little introverted but still can joke around and have good convos with everyone.
We are not super close but i feel like hes always a little quieter around me and looking nervous. I promise i caught his eyes lingered half a sec longer the other day when he saw me, and our not-very-often texts were pretty standard, like he dont open convos with me but never keep his own response short, theres always a bit of extra info in there.
I dont wanna regret in 5 years time thinking 'what if', so after 6months of secretly paying attention to him, ive finally have the guts to text him if he wanna grab lunch with me before our arvo shift starts. He said hes 'busy in the morning and will see me at work!' ❤️🩹
I see this as him having absolutely no interest in me☹️ Based on my mindset he doesnt even wanna get to know me(?) I thought we could meet out for coffee or lunch outside work so I could get to know him more.
What i find weird was how we both chatted at work as if i havent texted. I replied 'no worries we can grab ☕️ sometime when ur free' and he left my message unread on insta, how heart breaking is this😞 but yeah i dont think hes avoiding me or what its just, very normal.
I still hold a place for him in my heart but I understand my chances are low. I know hes single and very dedicated to his uni stuffs.
Could I ask please if you have ever rejected your crush for whatever reason? Does he knows now that i like him? Is this his way of rejecting?
I would appreciate any input if you have any clues. Enjoy your day<3
