My friend bought a used NZXT off of FB and it shuts down completely while he's playing. I tried logging into the pc but it didn't have an internet connection and wanted a pin. He's never used a pin. He got excited and changed his security online at MS now i can't get logged into it. So I have a couple questions not related to the log in. It is a 2021 by the serial number and has a B450 mb, G-Skill ram A2 16gb, B1 8gb, B2 16gb. AMD ryzen 5 3600 cpu and a 700w thermaltake psu. I boot to bios and the cpu idles at 45c. I wanted to do a stress test but afaik you can't do it in bios. I put a brand new 850w psu I had laying around and that really fucked it up. I put the old one back in. I read that doing a cmos reset can fix the psu issue, never heard of that. Usually a fast shut down is either a hot cpu or a psu problem. I know this isn't much info but any idea? He hasn't modded it at all or oc'd it. The 3 sticks of ram bother me but it was fine until recently. BTW it has a GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 12GB GPU.

I bought from Carmax because I don't have time to traverse the nation looking at cars I wanted. They shipped a car to my local store. The description showed a couple paint scratches. It was dirty when I test drove it so I didn't get a good look, and they only give you 20 minutes. Now I own it and I've been cleaning it up, I noticed where someone used rubbing compound to smooth a scratch on the hood. Looks like crap. Will Carmax fix this or am I screwed? I had the car 2 days when the 12v battery died twice, it's an EV. They said nothings wrong with the battery but it's under factory warranty so we'll send it to them. The battery was bad and the dealership replaced it. That tells me that Carmax didn't want to pay to replace the battery if the dealer had to. It took a week to get this done. So far my impression of Carmax is pretty dim considering the money I paid for "peace of mind" 125 point inspection and 30 day warranty.

I have a few vials in a Hydrapeak container inside my fridge. I keep the vial I'm drawing from I'm the same container. I have a Govee thermometer/hygrometer recording temp and humidity. So you know the drill, once a week I whip it out and get my vial for a shot. It draws moisture of course so the humidity is now at 67%. Not good. Do you guys keep your current vial separate from the rest or are you doing something different to mitigate the moisture? I plan on wiping them down and drying the container, then adding silica packets to keep them dry.

Just bought this car Friday and already have had a few issues with it. The dealer was suppose to charge it because it was on 25% and I didn't think I could make it home. I dint think they put much on it because after the 20 mile trip home it was at 19%. (All interstate)

I hooked up the level 1 charger and let it charge all night and half the next day. When I got home from work Saturday, I jumped in it to go for a cruise. It was dead as hell. Nothing. Black screen. I took the cables off the 12v battery and put my smart charger on it. It showed 0% and 8 volts when it began charging. Couple hours later it was at 100% so I started charging the main battery. It went from 17% to 38% overnight. I took it to a commercial DC charger and brought it up to 90% this morning. I suppose sitting on the dealers lot and only at 25% it might not have charged the 12v. I'm going to drive it to work and back tomorrow then see what the 12v has for a charge. I have read so many different theories about how the 12v charges, what level of charge it operates at and the short life span it has, I'm going to buy an AGM and not fool with the warranty.

My other question is the brakes. Is it normal for them to sound a little scratchy at low speed like in my driveway?

I'm buying an EV soon and I'm wondering if having a dealer do it or an independent shop. The OEM will have the test equipment and software for that battery. Does it matter?

I just got slammed on FB with ads for AltRx. I won't go into details about the ads but the hook is "we are senior friendly" bs. It even has a countdown timer "purchase before midnight tonight" kind of thing. It's the same price I see in a lot of tele-healths intro low dose plans. I expected to see the Sham-Wow guy with his headset. Any business that preys on seniors should be shunned by the community. Thank you for your attention on this matter.

I have never updated the android auto infotainment center since I bought the truck. Obviously it does ota updates but recently it's been losing it's mind. I read in here that downloading the update from ford online to a usb stick is the best way. My assistant is really moody and i hurt her feelings one day. She actually told me that I shouldn't treat her that way. I wasn't drinking, honest. Now the assistant has a male voice and I didn't change anything. I wouldn't mind the silent treatment but our state is hands free. How do I apologize? Maybe her sister is free.
