Anyone run the osight XR on their echelon? Does carbon/gas build up on the glass?

I'm getting an echelon soon but I'm curious about how the carbon or gas build up is on it, since I'm coming from an m&p carry comp that has the cut inside the slide that directs gas away from the red dot.

For the vets in Colorado, what's a good place to live in or around Denver (1hr away or less) while I use my GI bill and go to college?

So my plan right now, is to go to UCCS and move to Colorado springs, but I've visited before and honestly not much of a fan, but the cost of living is a little lower and I don't think I'll mind the drive to go to Denver occasionally for concerts and stuff. To be fair I didn't spend too much time in CO Springs while I was there so maybe I'm being unfair, but I wasn't really a fan of the area.

I was thinking maybe CU Denver or something but I'm not too sure. I am 100% P&T so I am very fortunate to have that money while I'm going to college and getting the housing stipend as well. If it wasn't for my medical issues, I honestly wouldn't bother with college and just go to trade school but I really can't handle that stuff anymore. Anyway, any advice is appreciated.

Possibly very underrated game changing tip that has helped me so much that I can't believe I've wasted years not knowing it.

I have always always struggled with staying satiated and wanting to inhale absolutely everything, the whole "being hungry .5 seconds after eating" thing, and generally just feeling like a bottomless pit or having constant cravings, but the past month I have been FIBERMAXXING, specifically with psyllium husk/metamucil each morning, and I hate to say it, but it completely changed my life man. For reference, I have been eating 1500 calories a day the past month and legitimately am basically feeling full most of the day.

I drink 2 scoops of metamucil, the orange flavored one, every morning before I even think about eating or anything, and I either eat right after, or just skip breakfast, but it really really helps me with feeling fuller and I think it has helped regulate my stomach and cravings. I really am not sure why but ever since doing this I just don't really crave fast food, and literally for the first time in my life, it's not a struggle to just put food away or take a few bites and move on. I have always been the type to have to eat absolutely everything off my plate, or not be able to sit knowing there's a bag of chips in my closet waiting to be destroyed.

This, combined with eating cleaner in general has actually made junk food absolutely repulsive to me. I ate McDonald's last week, my usual 2 McDoubles and 10 nuggets, but I couldn't even finish it or stomach the last nuggets and burger, I was shocked by that, and the fact that I felt sooo awful after eating that poison slop.

I've been dieting for basically the last 6 years, so trust me I've been around, and have tried everything. I've lost 70lbs, gained it back, lost some more, gained it back, it's been an eternal struggle, but this time, with this fibermaxxing I have been doing, it is actually insane how much better and fuller I feel, and it feels substantially easier because I'm always pretty full. Even tonight I had a chocolate bar I was really looking forward to eating all day, but I was so full I just put it away, which again, is shocking to me.

I also wanna mention I take digestive enzymes before my meals and I think that also has helped a lot, but I'm not quite sure which one has the most effect, but I started both at the same time and it has been a monumental difference in how I feel with food. It seems so obvious, but even when I've tried to have more fibrous foods or load up on broccoli, veggies, beans, potatoes, it never felt as effective as what I've been doing with the metamucil each morning and night sometimes.

Better late than never but I'm glad this actually changed the game for me and I hope it helps someone too.

TLDR: METAMUCIL/PSYLLIUM HUSK DRINK MIX EVERY MORNING, POSSIBLY DIGESTIVE ENZYME SUPPLEMENTS!!!

Edit: after searching about fiber in this sub, this is apparently not a super underrated tip but my god, it is a powerful strat for sure.

I'm 30 years old and live with my parents. This seems like the worst time to move out, but I really want my independence back. Advice?

For context, I got medically discharged from the army, at 28, spent that year living here doing rehab and physical therapy for months, and when I turned 29 I was better physically and kind of didn't do much of anything besides travel a bit, save money and hang out with family while I can. I just turned 30, and that really has had me thinking about how much longer I can stand living here. I love my family, I'm Hispanic, so they don't care if I live here, in fact they want me here, but I really value my independence, and want to move out.

The thing is, we all know how the economy is right now, and things in general seem unstable in America. I badly want to move, but my gut tells me to stay here. Since I got medically discharged and am pretty messed up from the army physically, I make enough to live off of from my VA compensation, but not quite enough to live alone and worry free.

My plan is to go to college, and live off the housing allowance until I graduate, I should be fine living like that, but still, the uncertainty feels heavy. I know there's no perfect time for anything, and sometimes you just have to make things happen, but is now really the time? Am I just overthinking it, or do I have a valid point?

▲ 2 r/CPAP

My pressure was set to 5-20 by my doctor, and this has been happening for awhile now, but for some reason didn't happen the first week or two of using my CPAP, it kinda just worked fine. I haven't changed anything, same mask, process and stuff. After this started happening I've been messing with the EPR, changed the pressure to 7-14 and am gonna see how that goes tonight but I'm really not looking forward to another night of waking up feeling like I'm dying and feeling like crap the rest of the day :(

Also, a few days ago when i wore my mask, I felt like I could breathe really well and the air wasn't as "oppressive" and it was a lot more pleasant to breath. Not sure why as I haven't changed any settings. Then I used it yesterday and the air felt heavier and thicker. The only thing I did different when it felt easier to breathe was kinda leave it on a bit before using it since I was drying off the hose.
