Recommendations for somewhere with tacos and then walk around?

Hello all, we are coming to Cancun next month and looking for a spot that we can get out of our resort and hang out for a few hours. We have a 4yr old toddler with us, so not looking for somewhere that we walk around lots.

Wanted to find somewhere with some restaurants and then shopping/souvenir shopping. Maybe some tacos and other local food.

I was thinking of Mercado 28 but seeing reviews that its a tourist trap. Mercado 23 is also the same idea I think?

Another spot we were thinking was Parque de las palapas but peoples opinion on the street food there seems to be vague?

Other suggestions were near the Coco Bongo in Cancun that has some shopping and food options there.

Buying cigarettes at the airport after arriving in Cancun?

Is there a duty free shop in the airport that I can stop and buy some smokes/drinks? Last time I got off the plane, did our immigration, picked up the luggage and by the time I noticed it, we were outside the airport. The store outside selling beer & drinks didnt have any cigarettes.

Not an occasional smoke and enjoy the different flavored cigs that we found at a Mexican 7-11.

Hilton Cancun & going to Cancun

We are looking at the Hilton Cancun for a week in November. Looking for experiences on taking a cab or Uber from the hotel to Cancun for shopping/dining. What are the options for doing the trip? We would like to buy some souvenirs, drinks from outside the resort as I assume within the resort prices would be quite high.

Does the hotel have any bus service or taxi service that take you to town? In the past in other resorts, we found a bus that takes you to town while making a stop at a sponsored store on the way.

What are some areas that we could travel to within Cancun for shopping and exploring by foot?
