Like in your opinion, what u think , would they suffice you for preparing these subjects for M/J 2027?

I know that she has Indian roots, but her father is Sri Lankan Tamil man, according to the internet. However, recently, I just saw this FAQ about Lara Raj on Google that her father was just simply born in Sri Lankan to his ethnically Indian parents, is that right? (not trying to spark a controversy on any matter from this topic).

Hello, I want to guide those students who are giving Pakistan Studies and Islamiyat (i js gave Pakistan Studies and Islamiyat last month; I didn’t give Urdu I’ll do it with 5 subjects in O3 ie M/J 27)

I hope that guiding juniors would make me gain some more deeds and yk maybe even motivation for me and i would be very happy if I’d know that someone is motivated from my guidance.

First for Islamiyat, I used to panic over Pakistan Studies and Islamiyat that I created Reddit account to use this sub last year. Thankfully, i did it earlier as the exams were nearly approaching my students were panicking because they didn’t complete or comprehend the answer structure so please make your friends and class fellows reach this post so that they won’t suffer from stress at last minute . Meanwhile I’ll give u tips, use Iftikhar Ul Haq’s notes they were very helpful and I’d use marking schemes and the green and red book as reference sources. I only did 4-5 past papers for P1; and 1 past paper for P2. Extensive past papers or even topicals are a must. Luckily, Mojza’s topical past papers of Islamiyat were available it saved me time as I’d open marking schemes of particular questions. Similarly, you shd use Mojza’s topical past papers, they’re available on website for free.

I’ll give u guidance on Pakistan studies in next post later.

I know I have like what 3-4 months, but I have to focus on my core subjects , they are something that I also have to achieve A*s too straight away, I have to do Marine Science and Urdu with them in May June 2027 so that’s 7 in total, (I don’t know Urdu that’s why i didn’t do it in O2 w Pak std and Islamiat, instead I’ll do it in O3 since my Urdu teacher recommended). So that’s a lot of pressure

I also have to prepare for EM too.

There won’t be issues if I revise Chapter 1 which is obv compulsory, Chapter 2, 4, and 5? Like there wont be intermingled questions from the chapters into the question respectively?

FYI, just finally my school agreed to let me have add subjects, so yeah.

js for fun. btw, I have 11 subjects in total, 8 main, I mean 3 subs are main if it counts in Pakistan (Islamiyat Urdu, and Pakistan Studies; I only gave Isl and Pak Studies this M/J, I suck in Urdu and don’t even know this language so I’ll do it w 6 subjects in M/J 27).

My core subjects are English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, again I’ll give them in M/J 27.

My additional subjects are EM, Sociology, and Marine Science. I’ll give EM and Sociology in O/N 26 and Marine Science with 6 subjects in M/J 2027.

i have noticed that many students usually do 6 to 7 subjects generally globally in IGCSE. I wanted to know if anyone ever done more subjects than mine or same no as mine or smth. fyi, in Pakistan we have three years of IGCSE, so let there be no debate about my no of subjects in short time. Yes, I have started EM, Sociology, and Marine Science now, I’ve never studied these in first or second year before. I know, dude, short time.

I am giving them in O/N 26, basically, I’ve never done these subjects before in the first and second year (we have three years of IGCSE in Pakistan), I am now in third year. Can anyone genuinely explain and help me in Sociology, it’s theoretical subject after all, the content is interesting on textbook but the way you have to structure answer is sorta complicated. again I am new to the paper pattern and sorts. Given that I have to prepare for my core subjects along with Urdu and additional subject, Marine Science in May/June 2027 (7 subjects) , I have sorta short time for these subjects in O/N, I need A*s in my CORE SUBJECTS AND ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS, I’LL ASK ABOUT CORE SUBJECTS LATER, but how to ace Sociology and EM and Marine Science too.I need detailed GUIDANCE THANK U.

Hello, I am a Pakistani student who repeated grade 2 once, I’d be 18 alr when I’d give 6 subjects including IGCSE Urdu in May June 2027. Then I’d finally be done with IGCSEs (casually ranting about my intro).

I want to do add subjects and give them in O/N 2026, I’ve considered about Marine Sciences, EM, and a third subject which is undecided (i have three options: Travel and Tourism, Sociology, or O level Statistics).

what yall think dude? I lowk screwed up Q2 of P2, the rest I did well in both papers.

I am a student who is done with O2 subjects except for Urdu which I’ll do with O3 subjects. I have a question, what is the specific or general criteria for attaining scholarship for abroad universities. Someone told me that getting straight A*s or 9-11 A*s in IGCSEs (I am doing IGCSEs only), are preliminaries for scholarship applications across foreign universities, that people even get scholarships in A1. Is it true? Tell me any other general criteria I am missing and along with it, to be eligible for scholarship, do I need A*s in Pakistan Studies, Islamiyat, and Urdu since they are compulsory subjects in Pakistan, to attain abroad scholarships?

Well for those ppl who are unaware, I am Pakistani so I was preparing for compulsory subjects of Pakistan (Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies) so I was using O levels sub. I js gave them recently so I’m done with O levels sub. However I’ll do the other compulsory subject (Urdu as a Second Language) with 5 subjects (English as a First Language,Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) in M/J 2027. Ik headache right. All of my subjects are IGCSE.

Also one more thing, I need additional subjects guidance, as a person who repeated grade 2 once, I am like 1-2 years behind if late admission into school at 4 counts! So imma be 18 in August, in this year, I’ll be giving 6 subjects in M/J 2027, I am feeling lowkey low mo cs of my age gap w my class fellows and I am behind. Anyways, I was saying that I am planning to give additional subjects in October November 2026, I have tentatively considered 3 subjects (Marine Science, Environmental Management, and Additional Mathematics). My school administration doesn’t give a f about giving additional subjects until my biology teacher offered good suggestions to my mother at ptm regarding the subjects that has scientific knowledge base where the available faculty will be able to mentor me in. With Additional Mathematics, if they allow at my school, then I’ll give it in M/J 2027, and might do IGCSE Mathematics 0580 in October November 2026. I want resources, tips, and notes for these three subjects, (who knows I might even do 2 additional subjects). Marine Science is still new and therefore not popular amongst many students. I also have a consideration for o level statistics instead of additional mathematics.

Furthermore, I want TIPS FOR ENGLISH AS A FIRST LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS, BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, AND PHYSICS. MOST SPECIFICALLY ON CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS, I WANT ALL A*S IN ALL SUBJECTS.

fyi, I am a topper in my class, but we’d have to work smarter too while working harder.

How are your papers of Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies?

In Islamiyat P1, I’d likely score 36-38/50, since marks are rlly strict atp.
In q4, I wrote from A to Z (I think I didn’t mention persecution that led to migration to Abyssinia or I must have, then I wrote about first batch, rumour about Quraishites conversion to Islam due to their bowing at Prophet as he recited Surah Najm in public, some of first batch went back on the way but resorted to Abyssinia, second batch, incident about envoys and Najashi convo, Jafar explaining, reciting surah 19.) how much I’d score in this 10 marker?

Q5, I wrote a lot of details about Umar and Khalid, like for Umar I wrote his conversion story, his daughter’s marriage to Prophet to strengthen their relationship, his participation in battles including his sharing of camel with Abu Bakr and Abdul Rehman, and his anger about Treaty of Hudaibiyah clauses, for Khalid bin Waleed, I wrote his participation in battles against Prophet (battle of Badr uhud), conversion to Islam in short, battle of mutah, I think it was it. How much I’d score in this 10 marker?

In Q2, I wrote Quran as a source of Law, Hadith as a source of Law, and Ijma as source of Law too (I wrote about the approvals of Hadith and Ijma, I wrote like 3 examples in each except in Ijma I prolly wrote 2)? How much I’d score in this 10 marker too? I wrote half of 4 marker question as extra sheet wouldn’t come on time as the time was about to end 😭

In Islamiyat P2, I’d likely score 35-39/50

In Q2, I made a horrendous mistake, I wrote Isnad and Matn, but I misinterpreted the categories as collection ie Musnad and Musannaf, instead the actual answer was classification of Ahadith on the basis of authenticity, had I know this, I could have gotten like 7-9/10. But I’d likely score 3-5/10. What u think about my likely score too

In Q3, I wrote everything from A to Z about Umar’s and Uthman’s martyrdom ( for Umar, I wrote a short story about Umar’s dream where a red rooster pecking him thrice which indicates his death by non Muslim as interpreted by Hazrat Asma, Hazrat Umar was praying at Fajr Salah, Abu Lulu brought two-pronged dagger and stabbed him thrice, he bled so much that he fell unto ground he also said the following verse of Quran (33:38), I also mentioned before this stabbing incident, he was reciting Surah Yasin and long suras to maximise the attendance at congregation. Flash forward, I wrote that he brought Abdul Rehman to lead prayer as Muslims were noticing unusual silence and they said Subhan Allah. Abdur Rehman recited short Surahs ie Kausar and ASR. I wrote the identification of assassin and Umar’s response on the identification. For Uthman, I wrote short reason for why he was martyred because I remembered I went thru the marking scheme, it is said that I’d have to write short reasons and short summary about rebels, then they led siege around his house, elite forces by Mu’awiya 120 km away, the rebels climbed up the wall and killed Uthman, his wife Nafila shielded him and lost two fingers consequently, his blood dropped on the Quranic verse: (2:137). How much I’d score in this 10 marker too!

In Q4, I technically wrote 3 types of Tawhid after short intro about Tawhid- Attributes, Worship, and His existence. It took up to 2.25 pages of answer, however I’d feel like scoring 7-9/10, cuz of strict marking? In existence, I connected it with His signs like ‘And we have made every living thing with water’ and ‘And we have made heavens, and we are its Expander’, galaxies were proven to be enlarged in 19th century,. For worship, I wrote about the purpose of Prophets, Quranic verse (51:56), the purpose of Islam and Quran, and for attributes I wrote this verse 7:158, his names to be used, Muslims recite Istigfaar as Allah is Al Ghaffar. How much you think I’d score in this too 😭?

Please pray for me, I need A*s in Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies, hope everyone will have the best of scores too, A*s too 😇.

Please, also tell me about your question choices in Islamiyat, did you write everything to its extent or make any mistakes, was the p1 easy or was the p2 easy or difficult. I want to know about the calculations of Islamiat grade thesholds too!
