Opinions about HiTech, Coimbatore

Hello y'all! so my sister got into Hindustan Institute of Technology, Coimbatore from the 2nd round of TNEA counselling. We are glad she got into that college coz she got her desired branch. But given what has been happening within that campus now, and coz my mom is kinda restless after hearing neighbour's opinions on it, I simply thought of checking in here about your thoughts.

How is that college overall? The facilities, hostel, academics, placement and other stuff.

Middle name missing in my Travel ID

Hello! I am a student travelling from MAA to FRA in late September. I am now trying to book a flight, but I noticed that my Travel ID did not include my middle name, which is the second half of my Given name in my Passport. I tried to edit it out thru Miles & More, but this would take around two days it seems. So i tried to create a new Travel ID with a different mail ID. but again, it missed out on my middle name...

I am trying to book with an account coz that way I can get access to the student discount but this name thing is getting me a bit scared coz this is my first time booking an international flight, and I don't want to be deserted in the airport coz of this...

So I just want to know, is it normal for Lufthansa to ignore Middle names? my given name in passport is Sxxxx Jxxxx, but my Travel ID only have Sxxxx. I would really appreciate some advice and help!

Temporary filling done on a cavity

Hey y'all. 22F, I had my very first visit to the dentist today. I have a deep cavity on my lower right molar, the one before the wisdom tooth. the cavity got sever and 1/4th of the tooth fell off last year. I kept on postponing my visit, until it came to the point where that tooth started to inflict pain. the pain was insane that I couldn't eat with my right side all alone. so I went to today to get it checked.

the dentist told me that it's just a very deep cavity and it is near your blood vessels(I'm not quite sure of what he sajd coz he rasped it out and I was in a painful daze). he have given me a temporary filling as of now and told me to come back after 10 to 15 days. if the tooth still hurts, then I would have to do a rool canal in 10 days. else, a permanent filling after 15 days.

so I am now curious. I had pain obviously after the procedure, coz the dentist kinda hit on the feeling to set it in its place. and the pain was almost gone, but I got a pain when I gargled after having dinner, the water was a bit cold btw. and whenever I keep on biting on it for a long time or a bit harder, I feel a sting. I'm just wondering, is there any chance for the pain to go away or will I defn have to get a root canal just coz my tooth's broken?

Can a dental infection really cause months of sinus pressure, ear fullness and head heaviness?

22F. I have been dealing with a really frustrating issue for the past couple of months.

I have a decayed lower molar on the right side, but interestingly the tooth in front of it is the one that hurts more. I mainly get a sharp sting when I bite on it, and sometimes the pain radiates toward my ear and the back of my head.

Along with that, I've had persistent sinus pressure and a feeling of heaviness in my head. The pressure is mostly behind my nose and around my sinuses. It gets noticeably worse when I bend forward, lie on one side for a long time, or after spending hours looking down at my laptop. My ears also sometimes feel full or blocked, especially on the right.

I don't have facial swelling, vision changes, high fever or severe headaches, but I do have severe vitamin D deficiency, for which I'm already being treated. It's mostly this constant pressure, fatigue, congestion and head heaviness that comes and goes. Some days I feel almost normal, while other days it's really annoying.

I'm finally planning to see a dentist to get dental X-rays and have the tooth checked.

Has anyone here had sinus symptoms that turned out to be caused (or made worse) by a dental problem? If so:

Were your symptoms similar?

Did treating the tooth improve your sinus pressure?

How long did it take before you noticed a difference?

I'm not looking for a diagnosis—just hoping to hear other people's experiences while I wait for my appointment.

Thanks!

Universities with ongoing applications

Hey y'all, I know it's almost time for the universities to close applications sooner, but I'm just posting it here to see if there are any ongoing applications. Asking for a friend btw.
