Lately my M2 Air has been dropping around 8 to 12% overnight even when the lid is closed and I’m not using it. I usually leave it with Safari, Spotify, and a few other apps open, but I never had this much battery drain before.

Battery usage doesn’t show anything obvious, and the Mac doesn’t feel warm when I open it. I’m wondering if something is preventing it from properly going to sleep.

Has anyone else noticed this recently, or is there a setting or background process I should check?

The first time I watched it, I remember getting impatient after the prison because everyone was split up and the story slowed down. On rewatch, those episodes are some of the strongest character work in the show.

Rick and Carl finally have to deal with everything between them without the rest of the group around. Daryl and Beth bring out sides of each other we had barely seen. Carol and Tyreese might be the most tense pairing because of what both of them know and don’t know. Even Glenn and Maggie’s story works better when you already know where everyone is headed.

It feels less like filler now and more like the show actually taking time to show what losing the prison did to each of them. By the time they reach Terminus, everyone feels changed in a way that season 5 immediately builds on.
