Thank you R/Monstera I was in the wrong sub!
My mother has owned this pretty girl for over 20 years. I believe it’s 25/26 years old.
I have a million questions.
I want to repot her into a bigger home but my father wants to split her. Is one idea better than the other?
Is there any tips on how to separate her into two pots?
And when we do repot her (regardless if we split or not) what type of soil should we use?
My mother (IMO) has gotten extremely lucky with her and the care she has provided this beauty. And when it comes my time to take care of her I want to know how to best care for her.
She was left outside for over two weeks due to home renovations so the last two photos are how she looks currently. :( I hope she will bounce back and she has throughout the years but I’m definitely nervous as she’s lost a ton of new and healthy leaves due to the move.
All other photos were taken over the last 2-3 years.
Any thoughts, comments, or ideas are truly welcomed!
