How do you approach someone on Reddit?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been on Reddit for a while mostly for memes, gaming, and niche hobbies. Lately I’ve met a few cool people in comments and DMs just by talking about shared interests.

Genuine question: what’s the best way to approach someone on Reddit without coming across as weird or pushy? Like if you actually vibe with someone in a comment thread, do you DM, reply more, join the same subs, etc?

Also curious — which subreddits are good for meeting new people and having real conversations? Not looking for dating apps vibes, just places where people actually talk.

Appreciate any advice from girls and guys both. Don’t want to be that guy who slides into DMs with “hi” 😂

Thanks!

Struggling to get interviews as a Data Analyst with 1 year of total experience – Need advice

Hi everyone,

I’m currently facing a tough time getting interview calls despite having relevant experience. Here is my background:

I have 6 months of internship experience as a Data Analyst.

I have another 6 months of professional experience working as a Data Analyst.

Despite applying to many roles, I’m not getting any response. I’m wondering if there is something wrong with my approach or if I’m missing something in my toolkit. Could you please suggest:

What additional tools or skills should I focus on to become a more competitive candidate?

Are there any specific platforms or strategies that have worked for you in this current market?

Any advice or resume-review tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!..
