Has anyone experienced pressure in the inner bicep area?

On certain days where my cubital tunnel issues are flaring up, I sometimes get pressure in my inner bicep. It basically feels like if you were to push your thumb into the area in yellow below.

Target shooting in Shawnee NF?

Hello, fully legal IL firearms owner here. I’m looking to do some more camping in Shawnee, and would like to have some outdoor pistol shooting time.

In my experience of Wisconsin and Michigan national forests, shooting is allowed assuming you abide plenty of common sense rules.

The Shawnee website page for shooting / hunting only explicitly talks about hunting. https://www.fs.usda.gov/r09/shawnee/recreation/opportunities/hunting-shooting

I’m hoping someone can clarify what’s allowed for shooting in Shawnee, since these are public grounds we all pay taxes for.

Caution - oil slick down the left lane of south bound Kedzie between Fullerton and Armitage.

Almost ate shit. It may extend further than that, but that’s where I saw it.

Morris / Grundy Co. - does anyone know where the former coal burning power plant was located?

Or what its name was?

Was it the former facility at the south end of Heidecke Lake?

Edit: looks like there never was a coal plant in morris. The Collins Station considered converting to coal before they closed.

Anyone in the Midwest Northwoods have experience with shooting on national forest land?

Howdy. I’m doing a couple days light off-roading and camping through northern WI and up to Copper Harbor UP.

I know generally, don’t shoot across a road, 150 yards from a camp/building/etc, generally just be cool.

I’m wondering if you fine people have any other common sense guidelines or anecdotes.

Air dam off on my 21 Sport, in prep for my first off-roading.

Planning to do the very beginner-friendly “7 Hour Plane Crash” path from north woods Wisconsin up to Copper Harbor, MI. Love copper country.

Stock 21 Sport, I’m rounding out my basic camping supplies and getting a portable air pump + tire plug kits. I plan to skip the Kaine Lake section at the start, since it apparently is known for deep ruts and water, and I have zero experience.

I’ll be solo, any tips on this path, general light off-roading, or the region, are very welcome. Cheers folks, happy Friday.

12k is always 2 degrees above or below my set temp.

I keep my set temp at 68. No matter what variation of settings I run (auto/auto, cool/auto, eco on or off) it nearly always will sit at either 70 or 66. I use the Smart Control option on the remote, about 15’ away from the unit.

Any settings recommendations or explanations for this? I’m in the Midwest US.

Monitoring well transducers: hanging method

Does anyone have a good method of hanging/deploying their transducers? We’ve got InSitu Trolls and direct read cables, hung from the j-plug. All flush mount wells.

Although the distance is minimal, we have to raise the cable slightly to be able to access it enough to connect and download our data. This technically throws off our data just a few inches during the period in which we’re getting the data.
Not to mention, it’s impossible to get a totally accurate initial reference depth.

I know InSitu sells their well socks, but don’t those inhibit sealing the well with a j-plug?

So does anyone have a good way of hanging transducers such that they are not disturbed while connecting our data com?
