Booked for euthanasia and I don't know if I'm making the right choice.

Willow Pillow is 19.5 years old, has hyperthyroidism, stage 2 kidney disease and "alot going on" in her bladder (vets words after ultrasound).

She's booked in a fortnight to be put down and im so conflicted! The last few months have been up and down with vet visits and back to back UTI's, constant inflammation and high white cell counts.

How do I know I'm making the right decision for my old girl? She has few things she enjoys in life, but seems to always be yowling in pain (we have meds for this too).

I just don't know 😭😭

Happy's back in jail 😔

I got ONE DAY!!!

ONE DAY without him biting the ever living **** out of my legs, toes, ankles, whatever body part he could reach.

So I locked him in the kids trampoline and finished cleaning his pond in peace... He's lucky I love him very very much!

I payed $13 today for a quarter of a watermelon and a cucumber

And apparently the inflation is only going to get worse??

I am north of Perth near Lancelin, no local markets or anything near me unfortunately!

I don't understand how people are living, let alone doing anything remotely fun!

Life feels so hard right now 😕

Samsung to Pixel, to Samsung, to Pixel... And back to Samsung?

Back in March I upgraded my Samsung s22 ultra to a google pixel 10.

I instantly hated it, appart from the camera. That camera was freaking amazing. I was a photographer for 10 years so photos are important to me and that thing blew my mind!!

BUT! I couldn't quite get past it not being my beloved Samsung, so I gave myself 6 months to try and adapt to it.

I got used to most of the apps, but there were a few things I just couldn't get past that I use every day. So I thought bugger it and bought a refurbished s25 ultra.

Instantly fell back in love with Samsung again.... Except that camera 😂

My sparkly new (to me) Samsung lasted 2 days before it had some sort of software issue and had to be sent back for replacement, so I got my pixel out..... And I kind of love it again 😂

Yes there's aspects I don't love, but I guess I'm kind of used to it now? I don't know what to do 😂

My Samsung it still in repair so I've got a few days up my sleeve to decide if I go back to Samsung or get a refund...

What the heck do I do 😂

Good times.

Had this for 3 days (new refurbished) and all of a sudden opening the camera app crashes my whole phone. Full restart 😔

Why does my senior cat do this after drinking water?

She is 19 years old, and has this weird little sneezing coughing choking fit after she drinks, it's been going on for about 3 months now.

She's been to the vet for other issues and has nothing stuck in her gullet

Straight to Jail.

After not leaving his brother's alone and causing a wee little bald patch on the back of his brothers neck, Jelly Boy has earned himself a solid time out until he can calm himself down!

Bonus pic of my happy boy having a much needed love after his trauma 😂😍

Breeding season 🙄🫪

The boys are spicy, soooo spicy. I have actual little chunks out of my toes from them biting me. I can't wait until they go back to their chilled out placid selves!

Hyperthyroidism medication question.

My elderly cat has recently been put on hyperthyroidism meds (Felimazole) twice a day, half a tablet.

Does she need to have this half an hour before food like adult hyperthyroidism medication?

She's been on the medication roughly a month now and I haven't noticed a huge change in her unfortunately, but she is having it with cat treats.

Thank you all kindly 😊

Elderly cat recently lost condition is she too skinny?

I've noticed the last week my 19 year old girl has lost some weight, feels like she's just fluff on bones at this stage 😞

Her eyes and teeth are clear, and she's eating/ drinking the same, maybe being a tad more fussy than normal if anything.

I don't even know what I'm asking I guess I'm just worried and hoping the internet can give me some reassurance 🥺

PS, have booked the little lady a vet consult for a few days time.
