Looking to buy a 26 Sportage FWD SX Prestige for my daughter. MSRP is $38,770 and the dealer website shows a dealer discount of $1,578, a KFA Dealer Choice Program discount of $2,000 and a document fee of $225. I will be doing the 0%/48 months financing, so I don't believe I can get that $2000 discount

What should be my target sale price for this vehicle? I'm interested in what others have paid for this before TT&L. I'm in South Texas. Thanks.

6. Index alignment: Looks like the 8 may be slightly canted, but could also be angle of photo.
7. Dial Printing: Looks good to me
8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A
9. Hand Alignment: Good. I have asked for a pic of the minute and hour hand aligned at 12.
10. Bezel: Good to me
11. Solid End Links (SELs): Good to me
12. Timegrapher numbers: no issues
13. Anything else you notice: Just wanted some feedback from the QC experts. I'm not noticeing any glaring issues. Would like confirmation on the SEL. These magnified photos and watches never look as "quality" when magnified. I have asked for pic of the rehaut at 12 and 3 and a video of the chrono operation.

Took delivery of my VSF Pam 960 yesterday. In the QC photos, my Chinese dealer included a timegrapher pic showing the watch at +1 seconds per day in the dial up position. When I put it on my Weishi 1000 yesterday, I am getting +13s in dial up. Also, I am getting as high as +22s in the crown left and crown up positions. Amplitude and Beat Error are healthy.

Assuming this is the same watch in Timegrapher QC photo, what could have happened in transit to throw these numbers off? I demagnetized it a couple of times with no change. Could it be just a regulation issue? If so, how hard would this movement be to regulate? I’m somewhat handy and have a set of watch tools. Is this something I could do myself? In the grand scheme of things, this isn’t a huge deal because I will rarely wear this watch on consecutive days, but I’m sort of an accuracy nerd and would prefer it dialed in. Appreciate any feedback.

I've always been a watch guy. Started with a cheap plastic Tag Heuer F1 watch when I was 14, to my HS graduation Submariner Date in 1990 from my grandfather (he paid $1,680 for it brand new from an AD) and through the decades to now in my mid 50's. I currently have a nice collection of about 10 gens including Panerai, Rolex, IWC, Tudor, Sinn, Omega, and Grand Seiko. I have owned a lot of watches and brands over the years, some of which I have sold to fund new acquisitions. I had always known about fakes, but never paid much attention to them. I knew of the RWI website, Reddit communities, etc. but never had the desire to go down that rabbit hole. That was until early June, 2026, about 19 days ago as I type this. I somehow found myself perusing Reddit communities and decided I wanted a fake Panerai. So, I purchased a Pam 960 from WatchSeed on June 8, 2026. That watch is scheduled to be delivered on June 30. While waiting on that watch, I continued further down the rabbit hole and discovered there were US based rep watch dealers. Pay a little more but get your watch quickly....sounds good. I decided I wanted a Pepsi GMT which I paid for and received the next day. I was blown away by this watch, after which I decided I needed a Seamaster NTTD. Same thing...unbelievable. Last night I decided I needed a GMT Sprite, so I ordered and will receive the day after tomorrow.

I don't have FU money, but I do have enough to buy some pretty nice watches. But now I ask myself why buy a real one when the reps look so damn good? I have always wanted a NTTD, but those are currently running $7500 - $8000 on the used market. I paid $600 for the NTTD and had it in one day and it is fucking amazing. Nobody is going to be able to discern that this is a rep while you're wearing it, and if someone says they can they are full of shit. As far as Rolex, I own three gens but despise what they have become. I went to an AD a few days ago to inquire about a DJ Wimbledon 41mm with Fluted bezel on jubilee bracelet and was told I could put 30% down and get the watch in 12 to 18 months. Are you fucking serious? I also asked about the Sprite and they couldn't tell when I could get one. Well, I am getting one in a couple of days that I paid $670 for, and if I walk around in the AD wearing it they will be none the wiser. Rolex and their holier than thou attitude can go straight to hell.

I've cut myself off for a while for future rep purchases (already eyeing a Daytona Panda though, Lol), but honestly I don't see myself even wanting to jump back into the gen game. Hell, I've thought about unloading a gen or two to fund some more fakes. Am I losing my mind?? Anyway, I'll quit ranting now, but wonder if a lot of others have had similar experiences as me with regards to watches, both gen and rep.

TLDR: Rep watches are fucking awesome and I don't give a shit that they aren't real considering what I paid for them
