Has Razer fixed the hinge cracking issue on the new Barracuda X Chroma? Hi everyone, I want to buy the new Razer Barracuda X Chroma, but I know there was a big problem with the plastic hinges breaking and cracking on older Barracuda models. I'm worried because the Chroma version uses the same physical design. I'm asking anyone who owns a Barracuda X Chroma: Has Razer really improved the plastic quality, or is it still fragile and prone to breaking? Thanks!

I wanted to ask current owners of the HyperX Cloud III S Wireless if the silent-scene sleep / power-saving issue is still happening.

Previously, many users reported that after around 10 seconds of silence, the headset would go into a sleep state and the audio would return with a short delay when sound started again. Even with power-saving options disabled in the software, the issue still happened for some people.

Has this been fully fixed with recent firmware or software updates in 2026?

I would really appreciate feedback from current users, especially:

Does the headset still sleep during quiet scenes?

Is there still a delay when audio comes back?

Does disabling auto-sleep in Ngenuity completely solve it?

Would you recommend the headset now?

Hey everyone, I wanted to ask about the difference between the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed and the PlayStation version of the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed PlayStation Licensed.

I mainly use PC, so I’m wondering if there’s any sound quality difference when using the PlayStation model on PC. If there is, how noticeable is it?

The PS version is currently available in a local store in my area and it’s on sale, so that’s why I’m considering it.

Also, I heard the hinge issue from the V2 model might have been fixed on the V3 series — can anyone confirm?

[HyperX Cloud III Wireless] Sleep mode delay & dongle durability – real issue?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering buying the HyperX Cloud III Wireless, but I have a couple of concerns.

I’ve read that the headset goes into sleep mode after about 10 seconds of silence, and when audio starts again, there’s around a 1-second delay before it wakes up. Is this actually noticeable and annoying in daily use (Discord, videos, games, etc.)?

Also, I’ve seen a few comments saying the USB dongle is fragile or can break easily. Is this a common problem or just rare cases?
