Thailand or Laos?

Hi everyone and thank you in advance for taking the time to read and maybe respond to this. I am currently doing an exchange in Singapore at the end of which i'll have around 22 days (1st-22nd of december) to travel, i have to be back in Singapore the 22nd to take my flight back to italy.

My initial plan was to do a whole trip of thailand, starting from Bangkok then going north to chang mai and from there going down with buses (skipping phi phi and phuket due to too much tourism) and slowly visiting it finally arriving to singapore by bus crossing malaysia. However, i recently went on a soo trip to china where i some guy suggested me to go to Laos since it is not yet that touristy while thailand is already kind of ruined and i'll be the same.

The thing is that in Laos i would have to take 2 flights, also to come back to singapore and also i am not sure what the thing is, cuz both countries seem pretty amazing. Thus, i really would like to hear what you guys think about this, and more than open to suggestions. Thank you all.

Changing field of study and admission to MSc in Economics

I am a student from Italy currently studying a BA (Bachelor of Arts) in International Studies at Leiden University, NL. During my studies i developed a keen interest in Economics, and my objective is to pursue its study at postgraduate level. I am especially interested in applied economics and public policy. To make up the lack of credits and economics/quantitative knowledge i thought about doing a 2nd bachelor, however i kind of already passed on the idea due to the time. The option that i lean more towards is postponing graduation and doing the following transition minor at the University of Amsterdam to compensate: https://www.uva.nl/en/programmes/minors/economics-transition-minor/economics-transition-minor.html

Thus, i am wondering whether i would considered or not as a competitive candidate for a MSc in Economics, or in Applied Economics. I will probably graduate with GPA between 7.5 and 8 (NL system is from 0-10) and i'll aim to get the highest grade as possible in all the subject of the minor to demonstrate the knowledge. I am also considering taking the GRE in case it would help.

My target list school is the following: Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) (Msc in Economic Theory and Econometrics, Public Policy and Development, Econometrics and Empiricial Economics), then Paris School of Economics (PSE), Stockholm School of Economics, Erasmus, UvA (last chance since it is the easier to get into), University of Zurich, Pantheon Sorbonne, and LMUM and Bonn in Germany; also LSE and other UKs school but i don't know whether those school would actually improve my profile substantially enough to explain the money difference (for example compared to TSE). At the moment i lean towards Master, since i am not sure whether i'd actually like research or not, but i leave the PhD path open in my mind (even though i know the odds).

I am open to any kind of suggestion and help to understand how to make this shift happen. Thank you all.

Admission to a MSc in Economics?

I am from Italy but I am studying a BA (Bachelor of Arts) in International Studies at Leiden University, during which i discovered a keen interest in Economics. As you might have though as of rn i lack the pre-requisites to apply to a MSc in Econ, however I am post-poning graduation to do a 60 ECs Transition Minor at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) to at least gain experience and credits in quantitative, mathematics and deep economics subject. I have also thought about doing a 2nd Bachelor, however i kind of passed on the idea since it would mean finish studying a bit too late, any thought on this decision?

Hoping that this is even enough for a MSc in Economics I am wondering where i would actually considered as a competitive candidate. I've looked at many options LSE (the 2 year ones), TSE (probably in top 2 with LSE), other school in the UKs but i do not know due to prices and maybe pre-requisites, PSE, Stockholm School of Economics, Erasmus, UvA (last chance since it is the easier to get into), University of Zurich, Pantheon Sorbonne, and LMUM and Bonn in Germany. This listing is in order of preferences.

Now considering that i'll probably graduate with a GPA between 7.5 and 8 (in the NL), and i'll aim to get really high grades in all the subjects of the transition minor and i'll probably take a GRE as well what are the actual chances of me being considered for one of these programs? My second option is to opt for a Master in Public Policy with substantial economics specialization as the one offered by TSE (however in Applied Economics) or the one by Sciences Po.

I am looking for some recommendations and tips, everything is accepted tbh.

I am an exchange student who is going to live in SG until December and the clubs that people proposed me to go are not really my type. I really need some underground rave/techno/groove scene to survive, i am also willing to go to Johor Bahru in case.

If you guys have any suggestions i am more than open also to try new things that at least are close to what i am looking for instead of the commercial clubs...
