Tartarus Gaismagorm (Gaismagorm "Deviant"?, by me)
Well, here is he! My own monster, obviously based from the one and only, Gaismagoat! He is quite a big dummy ( To be honest, I feel a bit cringe after making this, like those "Oh, here's my OC! They're [X character already existing and established] cousing/distant relative, they're... [Everything X is but just 'better'] ...Hope you like them!" )
Tartarus Gaismagorm is an individual of the species that, due to an earthquake in the cavern where its egg was, fell to the deepest layers of the abyss. Thanks to that unfavorable birthplace, he had to force his adaptation to the place, eating whatever filled his stomach. For many years its shell hardened, rivaling and surpassing the incredible hardness of the terrain, and with that apparent improvement in its body, its shell and scales turned a dark basaltic gray, darkening in the hardest parts, but the soft tissues remained the same. However, it came with an exchange, the density of its shell became extreme, and little by little it could not withstand it, falling under its own weight, so its body entered a state of extreme strengthening and hypertrophy, to the point of filling its interior with ultra-dense muscles, capable of moving what is now a living and calamitous monument of nature
He seems to act... strangely, compared to other Dark Abyss Dragons
Apparently, this individual is quite young, barely over 36 years old, compared to the last individual found (Sunbreak's), being hundreds, perhaps thousands of years old
Physiology: Its suffering from adaptive excessive hypertrophy, as well as gigantism; it has deformed, asymmetric vents on its wingarms, with some extra ones on its neck and the two horns on its back, these last two functioning as an escape chimney; on its chest has two holes covered by thick, hard shells that only open when roaring, making a sound that reminds of a drum, we don't know what other functions they fulfill; its back legs are half healthy, allowing him to stand on them for short periods of time, using the tail as a support
Classification: Elder Dragon, Deviant?
Related Monsters: Gaismagorm
Element: Fire, Tartarus Fire (own fire variant)
Status Effects: Blast, Bloodblight, Blindness, Hopelessness, Courage
Weak to: Thunder (3/5), Dragon (4/5) and Sleep (5/5)
Length: 104.8 meters
Height: 37.6 meters
Weight: Unknown, comparable to that of a young Zorah Magdaros
Habitat: The Abyss, any place with usual rain
Diet: carnivore mostly, small & big monsters (sometimes bigger than himself), deep roots of trees or some maybe minerals, which may be the cause of the color change in its flames
Behavior: Usually pacific unless feeling threatened or being hungry; seen on shores, sitting while watching the sea; also has been seen sleeping under the rain, enjoying it, looking comfortable; it emerges a couple days in advance before it rains, most often where it rains for days or weeks; emerges and goes back down more regularly than a Gaismagorm
Threat level: 10/10; even if it doesn't actively attack the ecosystem or it surroundings, it can cause collapses or tremors every time it surfaces, and when it does attack, it can leave the ecosystem without a possibility of recover; its flames increase in temperature depending on their mood or their disadvantage in a fight, being seen taking the risk level in which some trees even light up in embers being dozens of meters from the titan
The Qurio: apparently it has the same relationship as a regular Gorm, however, to eat them has to turn off completely its flames if it does not want to burn its food
Ecology: It seems that it is difficult for him to socialize with other Gaismagorms due to his mutations and changes, as seen by researchers and explorers; in expeditions to follow him, his conflict with other underground monsters has been analyzed, such as Kulve Taroth, Shara Ishvalda or Raviente, with the Great Craggy Wyvern finding himself unwilling to fight or enter a turf war over food
History/Records: it could be that this individual was the origin of legends saying of a titanic shadow of the rain, even causing some small villages to praise him as a rain god, even if they couldn't be further from the truth
Mythology: inspired by the titans and gigantomachy of Greek mythology, by Azazel chained in the darkness of the deepest desert (the Abyss), and his fire (white to intense blue and violet) being inspired by a will-o'-the-wisp (or I just made it up...)
Sorry for the drawing being not that good, I'll get better!
