Gaming in Brazil is officially impossible. The PS5 Pro is R$8,422 for "Prime Day", literally 3 entire months of wages.

I’ve been working as much as I can and saving up with the hope that Prime Week would finally bring a realistic discount on the PS5 Pro. Instead, the price is actually going up.

R$ 8.422,00..To put this in perspective for anyone outside of Brazil: that is three full months of work. And that's assuming I spend absolutely zero cents on rent, food, bills, or anything else.

Depressing and soul-crushing to have this hobby sometimes. There is just no way to survive as a console gamer here anymore, at least I don't see how.

Edit: Also, my original estimate of 3 months was actually based on a higher-than-average salary. If you look at the actual national minimum wage in Brazil (R$ 1,621), buying a PS5 Pro requires about 6 full months of labor.

Just like the PS3 store is closing down, eventually the PS4 store will close down too.

As someone who has been building a digital library for more than a decade, I'm honestly terrified. It leaves me with a few questions:

- Will our digital libraries even work after the shutdown?

- Will we still be able to redownload games we legally own, and will it download their updates and patches?

If the answer to these is "no," then what are we actually paying for?

AFTER SO MUCH TIME...I DID IT (Appreciation post)

I can't even begin to describe how much I love this game. Everything about it felt like it was made with such a care that we rarely see.. anywhere. The artwork, story, dialogue, characters, the MUSIC. I truly believe that there must have been something else in the Supergiant Games water supply at the time, because what everyone that worked on this masterpiece did feels like magic. Even after getting this trophy, I feel like there's still so much to see and appreciate, and I will not rest until the house of Hades is fully decorated and I'm ready to say goodbye.

I have avoided Hades II spoilers like the plague, but I'm already so Intrigued by what I have seen. At this point, I trust Supergiant Games more than any other studio right now, and they'll have my support for as long as I can play games. To everyone who worked on this game: From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Sidenote: Not trying to complain, but I got kinda sad when I saw Hades II wasn't available on PS4. Here in Brazil gaming is very expensive, so I'm still saving for a PS5 and realized I won't be able to play for now, but I understand they probably couldn't allocate resources to make a PS4 version, and it's not their fault.
