a little animatic of my oc duncan and her mom diana, a powerful witch whos been working under a demon in secret for years. she was raised in her mother's cult, as a "successor" (aka a future host body for her mom to inhabit), but all she really wants is to make her mom happy 🥲

mintaka and leonid, a witch and her familiar! she uses leo to contain the powers of a demon, hoping to use it to fuel her own magic. unfortunately their souls combine, creating a new being with split memories and a deep feeling of betrayal. he badly injured her, assuming she had bled out. but she survives, and goes on to form a contract with another demon, promising to share the power with it once they capture leo

im pretty happy with the designs on the left, however i feel unsatisfied with the designs of them on the right (post betrayal). i was trying to make mintaka feel more cold yet unstable compared to her younger self and her comfortable attire, but i feel like its just falling flat. and leo is supposed to unintentionally dress in a similar way to mint, but i think it just looks awkward on him...

any help would be appreciated!!!!
