Me and my partner often do 1–3 night trips here in Australia and we have a combined total baseweight around 7-8kilo depending on the season/forecast. I usually take more weight than her, she often hikes with a total pack weight around 3-4.5kilo and approx 20ish liters of volume.

Struggling to pick between the rei or gossamer gear option.

Any suggestions? I think she’d prefer a more comfortable carry than anything.
