Cybersecurity degree students, did your degree actually make a difference in this job market?

I’ve been working on my degree in cybersecurity but with this job market going on, I’ve heard of people with masters degrees not even getting a job. I’m working on my BSCIA but in the end I feel like it’s just another piece of paper that’s going to hang up on the wall and not do anything in this job market today. I have IT experience but there was a saying I heard in the industry: "certifications are good, a degree is better, but experience outshines it all."

I wanted to ask this question to see whether their degree actually helped them land a direct job in cybersecurity. My experience ranges from being a printer tech to sysadmin work.

Is the BCM Mod 3 vertical grip compliant on a non-SBR pistol?

A couple of weeks ago I spoke to my friend about the script and he said given that the grip was 87° and not 90° that the grip is compliant and can be put onto pistols.

I did my research and it came up that the ATF’s definition of a vertical foregrip is 90° from the boar of the firearm. Given that the BCM vertical grip is 87° I would assume that this is compliant and I should not need to SBR my gun is that right? I wanted to come here and ask because I was getting so many different answers online and on multiple different website.

I have an interview for a Cybersecurity Forensic Analyst role. How can I prepare myself?

I am greatly interested in Cybersecurity. I have about 3 years in IT experience. I typically interview well but I’m wanting to prepare myself for this interview so I don’t miss this opportunity. What can I do to prepare myself? As dumb as this may sound, I’ve been using AI to generate interview questions and I’ll answer them as if I’m in the interview generally well. What questions do I ask at the end of the interview?

How to transfer a silencer that was filed as individual to an NFA trust?

Apologies if this is a dumb question, I am new to this stuff and just want to make sure I am understanding the process and procedures correctly.

I bought my 2nd silencer and created a NFA trust and only the 2nd silencer is in that trust currently.

I want to convert my 1st silencer from "individual" ownership to trust ownership. To my knowledge, I would have to treat this as another transfer of ownership by filing another Form 4 and waiting for approval. My question is, can I just go to the ATF website and start a Form 4, or do I have to resubmit a passport-style photo, fingerprints, law enforcement notification, etc., paperwork to get the silencer transferred into the trust? If I paid a $200 tax stamp for my 1st silencer, do I have to re-pay that $200 even though the tax has been removed?

Do you have to notify the ATF if you move with a silencer to a different city but stay in the same state?

I did some research on this one and found many different answers, like yes, I have to notify the ATF and receive approval before moving to a new address. No, I don't need approval, but I do have to notify the ATF when I move, etc. and it makes it really confusing. What is the process for silencers only? What paperwork do I need to complete before moving to a new address?

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Man pulls a gun in public and finds out an off-duty cop was watching.
