Moved abroad on my Neptune line.

EDIT: Moved to my Neptune DSC* line.

I've dabbled here and there in astrocartography. I didn't really think much about my Neptune line going directly through the city I was moving abroad to as I was moving to be with my long-term long-distance partner and that meant more to me. I honestly didn't hold too much belief in astrocartography.

However, after living here for a year and a half.... Whew.

Can anyone truly confirm if living on your Neptune line really that bad or if my circumstances are purely coincidental?

Right before moving here in June of 2025, my dad passed away. I had to plan and hold his funeral 3 days before my flight to the big move. While this probably has nothing to do with me moving near my Neptune line, it was kind of the beginning of my long line of never ending bad luck.

My mental health completely deteriorated, as kind of expected for someone who's moved to a new country and grieving the complicated loss of their father. Partner was laid off at her job after about 4 months of living here, and then I finally found a job at around 8 months. I began running into some health issues, got diagnosed with an autoimmune liver condition, began breaking out in hives and hair began falling out. got diagnosed with BPD (symptoms kinda flared after the death of my abuser), got some meds changed around.

Ended up acquiring a workplace bully. Asked for a physical health accommodation at my job after being there for 3 months of 1 less work day a week without pay for therapy and doctors appointments. i was then terminated for asking for said accommodation despite doing very well at the job. Now I'm in a claim against the company for a human rights violation that hasn't gone anywhere. This happened in April. Still struggling to find a job, even ones I'm highly qualified for. Can't even list that I have worked in this country b/c of said claim, so many jobs I am rejected for despite having a degree and over 5 years of experience in my field.

My relationship with my partner has kind of gone nowhere. We spend many days being just roommates and I often just feel like a mother. I spend all day doing laundry, cleaning, and spiraling about how bad things have gotten. I used to be independent, now I have no car, no job, and hardly a support system. My partner and I have had many conversations about our relationship and about household things and also about just attempts of intimacy in our relationship. I try to offer things for us to do but she is much like a hermit and doesn't like leaving our home while I'm a Gemini and much more outgoing and love socializing. She often just gets upset at me and I find it hard to navigate our communication when she gets defensive at every little thing I say. It's like I can't communicate with people here. I had some miscommunication with people in the workplace (aka workplace bully, but it was resolved and I wasn't the culprit), some family members, some of my wive's friends, and overall, I feel like I'm completely losing my sense of reality living here. Not to mention, obviously, finances are in a tough spot. It's genuinely like everytime I think I'm making some progress, I get launched backwards 10 steps again. I just did an interview at freaking footlocker, that went exceptionally well, AND I had a referral, and still got rejected from the job.

Anyways. How was living near the Neptune-DSC line for you guys? I am ~2.7 degrees from it. And actively trying not to jump off the nearest cliff!!!!!!! (Kidding!!)

feel like it would be wrong to become a clinical SW/counselor/therapist now?

TLDR: was dx w/ bpd. would becoming a therapist be considered an immoral decision now? are there any counselors in this sub with substantial diagnoses? pros, cons, frowned upon?

i've had a really bad mental health episode this last year and a half. my abusive dad died, i moved countries, and i was terminated from my job. everything that happened kind of jumped out into the open and i was ultimately diagnosed with bpd. i do think the psychiatrist is right. thinking back... "quiet" or internalized bpd really does make the most sense to the questionable behavior and insatiable need for reassurance i've had my entire life.

i questioned my ability to continue with graduate school just because of my ever fluctuating mood, but now being diagnosed with bpd— should i find a different career path?

i've worked in children and families mental health as a caseworker for the last 4 years and it's where i hold my 4 yr B.S. i've seen many professionals in my field catastrophize bpd and refuse to work with patients who have it. this experience has seemed to manifest a more negative connotation around the diagnosis for me, but i'm definitely still in the weird cycle of grief that many with bpd endure.

any therapists on this sub that work in the field and have substantial diagnoses?

am i really the problem?

the last year and a half, i have been in the deepest, darkest depressive state i have ever been in my entire life. i've had multiple mental health episodes in the last year, and was just diagnosed with bpd on top of my previous diagnosis of gad.

i moved countries this past year to be with my long distance partner of 4 years. i was so excited and eager for our love to bloom into something even bigger and better than it had been when we were long distance, but i have never felt more alone in my entire life.

i thought maybe it was just my mental health and then as soon as i can get that figured out, things would be great. i originally thought maybe i had ocd that surrounded multiple things, but mostly my marriage/relationship. i.e. thinking "is this the one? am i truly happy? why am i so unhappy in my relationship?," etc.

i was ultimately diagnosed with bpd. after more and more research and understanding, i do think the diagnosis is accurate. i'm almost done with my regimen to taper off of my medications i was on and tapering up a new one (my previous ones were making my hair fall out and obviously not helping my MH.)

however, my new diagnosis has sort of became the excuse behind my relationship troubles. at least this is how my partner makes me feel. they will often turn any emotions or feelings i have around back onto me. if i have real valid concerns about their lack of help or how lonely i feel, they will often insinuate that maybe i am feeling irrational b/c of my bpd. i know that i can be selfish and sometimes not take their feelings into account, but i make myself aware of it and often even find myself fawning and overcompensating to fix the damage "i caused." but the more i think about it, i'm not really sure. my head feels like it's spinning a million miles a minute and we never have gotten to a real solution this entire year together.

as i had mentioned— i feel incredibly alone in our relationship. when i came to their country, i expected partnership and my time here has been spent being more like a mother to them than a real partner. i do everything, even when i was working full-time before my worst mental health episode. i do the budget, all house chores including the cat stuff, laundry, cleaning, groceries, dinner, etc. i go out alone, do all things recreational on my own, etc. often times when we do go out together, they will want to leave events early even if i'm having a good time. if i try to set a boundary in place, they will look at me with pure hatred and meanness and disgust until i just succumb to make their mood "better." thinking baxk, they often do this "mean/disgust" look at me when they are upset, but want me to be the one to bring it up or "fix" it in some way. we often have to cancel plans with family or friends if they no longer feel like going to them as well. same happens with lunch & dinner dates, going shopping, etc. when i voiced this feeling of loneliness, a lot of it was turned back around onto me for "expecting too much." out of them, and their game of "so i'm just really shitty of a person, you are making me feel so bad about myself, i am a terrible partner," etc. and i end up consoling them, and no resolution happens, and the cycle repeats itself.

i feel like i have sacrificed a lot of myself, the life i had back at home, my friendships at home, and overall a lot of time into our relationship and want nothing more than it to work out-

but i just keep wondering to myself, where does my bpd "overly-intense-irrational-emotions" end, and where does manipulation, gaslighting, and the entire situation at hand begin? i'm having a hard time understanding if i'm truly being irrational because i know that i can be. i know i am capable of doing so, but i thought i had been doing a really good job at picking my battles while also being able to manage reasonable expectations.

am i really the problem? have i just made my bed and this will be where i lay? do i not bite my tongue enough?

i don't know. i find myself splitting more and more with every disagreement we have. i've gone numb, and feel a sense of the "done" and "you'll fucking see" spite i've felt at the end of my previous relationships. am i really the reason this couldn't work? am i really the reason why i am so unhappy?

hi!!

hi, many call me fig!!

i'm 27F, live in western Canada (MST), and i'm looking for friends to chat and play multiplayer games with. i enjoy different types of games, but not very good at FPS or really shooter games in general, but i'm always open to practicing!! i was cracked at fortnite like 3 years ago, but kinda lost all the skills, lmfao. i'm usually on discord everyday/every other day. i don't play games all of the time as my interest ebbs and flows 'cause i'm super adhd (medicated), but i usually will still hop on even if i'm coloring/drawing/painting/building legos/etc.

i don't mind male or female friends; i'm a lesbian and i'm in a long-term relationship so i am seeking friendships only!! i love to banter and sometimes be playfully mean or make fun (i'm a gemini) so if your feelings are hurt easily, maybe i wouldn't be the one for you!! i love really any topic. i know way too much info about politics, conspiracy theories, tarot, astrology, etc.

overal fine w/ voice chat or just chats. i also love multiple ppl voice chats and gaming as well!! i'm not really too shy of a gal and always down to make friends.

New Allergist

My new allergist scheduled my appointment only 4 days away from our my initial intake call and said that 3 days off antihistamines would be enough to do allergy testing.

I went ahead and attended, despite feeling this was untrue and was negative for everything besides 2 different dust mites (I have a severe allergy to them) and even those marks were mediumish to small.

I did do a round of about 4 months (1-2 shots a week) of immunotherapy and the nurse said "it looks like your immunotherapy was working!" which is great, but I wonder if 3 days was really enough off of my antihistamines?

Either way, when I tried to bring up histamine intolerance and MCAS, they pretty much blew me off. I even provided paperwork that my previous allergist was suspecting that I have both. I just had to get a new allergist bc I moved from the USA to Canada. :(

What do you guys think? Should I ask for retesting or no? I am on 40 mg daily of famotidine and 30 mg of cetirizine. Per my last allergist, I'm technically supposed to be on 30 mg in the morning 30 mg in the evening but allergy meds are very expensive in Canada and very hard to find in bulk w/o prescription.

So, is 3 days enough time to have accurate testing? And if any Canadians (I'm in Alberta) know how to get bulk antihistamines over the counter for cheap, def let me know, lol.

anyone else that has never been formally diagnosed with MCAS, but have been taking mast cell activation meds majority of their life?

Just a question! I think my last immunologist had a hankering, but we never got to have another appointment before I moved out of the US. I have been on famotadine, cetrizine, azelastine nose spray, and olapatadine eye drops majority of my life. I have had chronic nose bleeds since a kid from allergies and it is typically my allergic reaction to perfumes, grapefruit, and other random products. Would you say my medications would be indicative of possible MCAS diagnosis or maybe more like histamine intolerance? No deadly anaphatic allergic reactions. Just hives, sometimes burning/tingling tongue, nose bleeds, itching, etc.

Hi everyone- I know that the ANA is not used to diagnose MCAS as it is not an autoimmune disorder, but I was interested in seeing if anyone else had a positive ANA test before finding out that they had MCAS.

TLDR: Do you have MCAS and was previously tested for ANA that was positive? What antibodies were present? Do you think it correlates to your current diagnosis now?

My results came back positive for fine dense speckled pattern for DFS70/LEDGFp75 with a titer of 1:640. Per my results, this can be consistent with "just being a healthy person" (lol okay thx doc, i'm cured!) or with asthma, eczema, and Interstitial cystitis. Many research says it can be tied to allergic disorders.

I do get small patches of eczema (never been formally diagnosed tho) at times- but I did not have any at the time of my testing. I however have been getting them more often now than I did in the past. The eczema patches usually show up after I've had an allergic reaction and the hives have finally disappeared. I have very sensitive skin. Exercise causes me to flare up in hives and then go away within an hour or so afterwards. Sometimes I just wake up and have hives coating my chest and neck area in the morning. I have facial flushing multiple times a day and have nasal congestion and sinus pain/fullness majority of the time, despite taking allergy meds and using saline. I have never had an anaphylactic type of allergic reaction, but have experienced many allergic reactions that are majorly itching, burning, hives, welting skin, etc. I have other symptoms consistent with MCAS as well, but I'll leep the laundry list to myself, haha.

I was indeed very histamine intolerant when tested by my immunologist about a year ago. I have been on 2 antihistamines (zyrtec & famotodine/pepcid) since then because my "seasonal allergies" keep me sick all year around. If I don't take my antihistamines, I end up getting incredibly congested and getting a sinus infection.

Anyways, has anyone diagnosed with MCAS had an ANA positive test completed? What antigens were you positive for if so?

I do plan to ask for testing for MCAS at my next dr appointment as some of my symptoms can be relative to MCAS, but overall, I'm really just asking this because I was just interested if there is some sort of correlation as there is not any research addressing anything of the sort.
