Did Daddy Truck get Ross'd? (Gecko's garage)

In the older (2D) Gecko's garage, Baby Truck's parents are Mummy Truck and Daddy Truck. However in the 3D episodes, suddenly her parents are Mummy Truck and Mama Recycles (which tbh it seems a bit on the nose to me that Rebecca Recycles has ousted Daddy Truck then totally rebranded herself around being his kid's new mum).

What happened to Daddy Truck? Did he get kicked out of the picture a la Ross from Friends, when Mummy Truck realised she actually preferred the company of female trucks? Is he still in Baby Truck's life? He's not in any of the 3D episodes (that I've noticed), but maybe that's just because Mummy Truck took Gecko and the Mechanicals in the break up...

Best all you can eat spot for a vegetarian?

Note doesn't have to be a vegetarian place, just somewhere that the vegetarian options they do have are actually good!

My exclusively breast fed baby is about to start solids so I want to make the most of my last chance to actually somewhat get my money's worth out of an all you can eat (breast feeding hunger is insane y'all!). However I'm vegetarian and most all you can eat places are pretty meat heavy... Which is fine, I just want somewhere where the vege options they do have are actually good!

The "put a bit on their plate but no pressure to eat it" method of feeding kids

Does anybody do this? It's the advice I've seen from lots of child nutrition experts - you put a bit of every part of the meal on their plate, it counts as exposure towards that food, but then you don't pressure them to eat it. I've been doing this with my 3.5 yo, but it ALWAYS results in a full blown meltdown "I don't want it on my plate!!!!" Even though I explain she doesn't have to eat it.... Curious how others handle this, or other ways of getting exposures to foods they don't want to eat without it ending up in a meltdown.
