Am I cooked?

Am I cooked?

I just noticed a concerning amount of dead bugs on my floor near my fridge/my cats water bowl, which leads me to believe these may be dead fleas but that doesn't make sense because I haven't given my cats any flea treatments to help with their fleas yet. My apartment has roaches I'm trying to deal with, so this concerns me...

They're SO small, like ballpoint pen tip small. I had to get on my knees just to notice they were bugs, I thought one of my cats spilt some food or something. I took some other pictures but it's so hard to get my phone camera to focus.

Any ID would be so appreciated I'm scared 🙏

Finally diagnosed after a flare up and years of issues

I have this rash on my forehead and into my scalp that's been an issue for a year now and I just never thought to get it checked because I thought it was just dandruff. It flaked off in a scaly patch and I initially thought it might be psoriasis but I wasn't entirely sure until I went to a derm to get it checked. I had a little improvement using a hydrocortisone ointment but in my follow up we discussed my family history of autoimmune skin conditions so I got it biopsied and it came back as seb derm. I feel so stupid having not considered it, looking back now I was getting flakes in my eyebrows and I just passed it off as dandruff or my skincare pilling. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess

I'm waiting on my next follow up, but I'm needing advice on long term management from people who've had more experience with this than me. I want to try using an MCT oil like I see being mentioned here a lot, and I found one I think fits the description in the wiki page. Besides that, what are your favorite strategies of managing flare ups an preventing issues in the future? I have a Ketoconazole 2% prescription that's really helping, but I don't want to rely long term on the Pimecrolimus and corticosteroid I've been prescribed to manage my current flare up.

I really appreciate any advice or comments!

Pureology, Redken, or Innersense purple shampoo?

Hey! I'm going to be getting my hair dyed blonde in a few weeks and I'm looking at the purple shampoo options at Ulta and I'm stuck between these three brands. I would ask my stylist but her salon has Innersense and Pureology products for sale so I'm not sure if I'd get an unbiased recommendation from her.

From what I'm aware purple shampoo isn't supposed to be used very often so the bottles would last me a long time. It takes me a while to go through a bottle of shampoo/conditioner I use frequently so I can imagine these bottles lasting me quite some time if I'm only using them every so often. They're all around the same price and size for the standard size at Ulta. All that to say the price isn't that much of a concern since these wouldn't be frequent repurchases in my mind.

It just sucks that I can't seem to buy mini sizes of the purple shampoos, I really don't want to commit to multiple big bottles just to try different ones.

I'll still obviously ask my stylist if she has any opinions, but I'm curious if anyone here has anything to say on their experience with the purple lines of these brands. I've never dyed my hair before so I'm definitely a little inexperienced and overwhelmed by all of the options. Any opinions you have are valuable to me!

Please help me find this bag

I don't use images when I post on Reddit so if it's formatted weird sorry.

I went to see Conan on tour a while ago after years of never being able to afford it and I bad the best time. I spent so much on merch and I got a tote bag that says Wishbone on the top with Conan and some sheet music lines in the background. I lost this bag recently and I CANNOT for the life of me find anyone selling it online. I tried reverse image searching it and looking on eBay and Depop but I can't find any listings for anything I search. PLEASE help me find it, I want it back so bad! It's been weeks and I'm losing hope.

I LOVE this bag so much and I'm at the point I'm asking if any of you have an extra that you would consider selling to me on whatever reselling app you use. I know this sub probably gets posts like this all the time but I really want my bag back.

Any help finding a new one will be forever appreciated!

I'm so tired

It's been almost two years since I first started noticing the roach infestation in my apartment and I'm just sick of this. The last upstairs neighbors I had brought it in somehow and it just hasn't stopped since then. I don't even know how it got this bad in my place, I swear I see different species sometimes they look so different. It's not like I can tell what kind of roach it is, I'm so scared of them I have to yell for someone else to kill it so I can get as far away as possible.

I'm just so tired of this. I can't even afford to buy cheap generic traps or gels let alone an exterminator. My landlord is refusing to do anything about it and so are my family, so I'm fresh out of options besides begging whoever is around to come quick enough to kill the roach before it gets away. Obviously this has done nothing to curb the infestation, neither are my frantic attempts at cleaning. This has taken a serious toll on my mental and physical health. I can barely bring myself to cook or even step foot in my kitchen these days, I don't want to shower because of course they're in my bathroom too. I'm terrified to go into the bathroom in the middle of the night because I'm scared I'll find one or it'll crawl on the toilet onto me. I found one dead in the lining of my freezer so I'm petrified they're all over my food when I'm not looking. The only things I'm really eating are canned or prepackaged things.

I guess it doesn't help that I have an irrational phobia of bugs so I can't even sleep when I see one, but I'm just so done with this. I don't really want advice I just need someone to listen to me because nobody else is. I can't talk about this with anyone outside of my family because I know I'd get judgemental comments or advice I can't afford to follow.

It's so insane to think that I've been through so much and survived so many things, but a roach infestation is causing my this much distress. I'm an adult acting like this... I just can't deal with this anymore. Sorry if this is really depressing I literally don't have anybody to talk to about this.

▲ 4 r/OMORI

Was Omori really easy for anyone else?

So I just finished my first blind run of Omori and I'm pretty sure I got a good ending but I'm not sure since I'm not wanting to look anything up to avoid spoiling other endings for myself. I LOVE this game so much, so this isn't a critique at all! As I progressed through the game I only died to Kite Kid a few times and King Carnivore twice and maybe one other enemy I'm forgetting, those are just the ones I remember struggling with off the top of my head. But I beat pretty much every single other boss my first try. I think Sweetheart took me two attempts, but literally everything past her was entirely deathless. Was I just over leveled? I ended at level 32 for everyone. Did anyone else find Omori easy? It gets to a point where the combat is kinda underwhelming, but I'm not sure if thats my fault for being so over leveled.
