Every night when I go to sleep, I hear a strange creaking sound on the roof. It's always at night, sometimes in the day. I genuinely have no idea what this is. I can sleep through it, but it's really worrying. I'm not one to believe in ghosts, but I've turned here as a last resort as I have no fucking clue what's going on.

To clear any obvious explanations, I don't have trees above my house, it's quite a new house, and I don't have an attic.

I'm not ruling out the possibility that it's a human even if it's highly unlikely.

I've looked through articles, the hub, and existing posts, but all I could find was that articles featuring the department are all weirdly "gone."

Am I missing something, or am I just really stupid?
